56. Also... People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, a group that complains bitterly when animals die accidentally in horse races or intentionally in slaughterhouses, killed more than 90 percent of the adoptable animals in its care during 2007.
This has been all over the news for years now. Peta was even being investigated for "Rescuing" 4 adoptable abandoned strays, killing them in their van and dumping them in a grocery store's dumpster.
Out of the tens of thousands of animals they "rescue" or are innocently turned over to them in hopes they will find a good home for adoptable pets... less than 11% actually make it out alive.
Last year, out of 1997 pets surrendered or rescued by PETA, 17 were adopted which means they killed 1815.
You're telling me ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED and FIFTEEN animals were unfit for adoption????
PETA are nuts and anyone who supports them are even worse. Pam's an uneducated whore who doesn't even know what she stands for. Either she's against killing animals, or she's for it. It can't be both ways. If she's against it, she should be against PETA.
