Tommy Lee Jones -- WH2Ore

Tommy Lee Jones sure can pass a lot of water. No continence for old men!

According to the water cops down in San Antonio, Jones was the eighth-biggest water user in the city, gushing out 128,139 gallons per month in the last seven months -- that's more than $300 per month on H20 alone! Folks in San Antone are on year-round water restrictions, and an average homeowner uses about eight or nine thousand gallons a month.

So get this -- the water police tell us they're going down to Tommy's house tomorrow to work out better water usage.

16. Hey, sickofit, get your stuff straight. There was an update later that said that Celine Dion had a busted water pipe and that's why so much water had been used at her home. Do the stalkers at TMZ not have anything better to do than to nose around looking at people's water bills????

18. If you water your lawn with 4 inches per month, which is normal then his usage indicates he's watering about an acre and one fifth of lawn. He has a 3000 acre ranch in Terrance Hills. Doesn't seem like he's using much water.

One acre of land is 208 by 208 feet, or 43264 sq ft. Four inches of water is 1/3 of a foot. A third of a foot over 43264 sq ft is 14421 1/3 cubic feet. There is 7.5 gallons in one cubic foot, so that is 108160 gallons of water for one months supply of water for an acre of lawn. He used about 25% more than that. So he watered 1.18 acres.

It's only $300 bucks worth of water a month? I doubt it. Normal water prices are 3 cents a gallon, but that works out to 2.7 tenths of a cent. More likely it was 2.7 cents and that he paid $3000 for the water per month. If they don't want people to use the water just raise the price.
