38. I don't know what its for but the origional image of these faceless people came from an Episode of the British TV show Doctor Who.

Americans might not get the reference, but its the #1 TV show in the UK right now. But who knows why they are using the faceless masks now.

A comment on society? On the TV show, people's faces were sucked off while watching TV and they were left to wander the streets untill they could be rescued.

44. This is viral marketing, not "Anonymous" you know and love. But the anti-Scientology Anonymous have been doing this same thing since early spring and will continue through the summer. There have been fawkes-masked audience members at baseball matches in the US, at the Nelson Mandela 90th birthday concert (46664) in London, and so on.
