Thomas Beatie -- the 34-year-old former woman turned transgendered pregnant man who went on Oprah -- has given birth to a biological girl.
We're hearing the whole thing was totally cloak and dagger. He checked into the hospital in Bend, Ore. under a fake name after going into labor early Monday morning and his room was sealed off, away from other expectant moms. The baby was delivered by C-section later that day.

36. Does it really matter if he was a girl or a guy.... as long as the baby is healthy and loved thats all that matters..... Everyone has there way of looking at things but the bottom line is if the child is being taken care of.... There is nothing anyone can say or do about it that is the way they chose to live.,... I for one give them alot of credit to be public about it... but what is there to be ashamed of that is there life.... It is just the same as if a gay couple had a baby.... there are plenty of heterosexuals that dont take care of their children so why not give everyone a chance....

38. Denial is not a river in Egypt: this person is a woman and will always be a woman, no matter what biological modifications he may have had! The fact that she had a womb to birth is proof that a woman is a woman, for no man is born with a womb! It is a real shame for this child to be born to someone who does not want to be what she was born to be; female. Now, are you sure that the baby was a girl? What if, when the child gets older, the female wants to be a man, like mommy is? How f****** confusing for the poor baby. Why should anyone suffer for the deviate behaviors of others? News like this makes me real sad for a lost world: It only makes me want to die and go somewhere better, some place where the mind is not so sick and perverted.

42. Congratulations to Thomas and his wife on the birth of their daughter! I am sure Dad and Mom are so very happy their little one has arrived healthy and will begin her life in a loving family.
For those of you who do not understand what it means to be transgender; You are biologically one gender, yet the affirmed gender in your brain is opposite. This is a condition that babies are born with. So yes, even though Thomas does possess the biological bod, anatomy, and reproductive organs of a woman, he is actually male-minded and affirms himself to be male; therefore, he is his little girl's father.
I support Thomas and all other transgender people who seek to be parents, either of their biological children or adoptive.

43. Now that this 'man' has had 'his' baby, 'he' can be a voice to all the women out there when it comes to getting that tummy tucked after birth. 'He' had a C-section and even under that hoodie 'he' looks like 'he' had a good tuck.....Now 'he' should voice 'his' experiance and promote tummy tucks for all the women in this world!
