Shooting Outside Hollywood Club

A man was shot multiple times outside a Hollywood club, and TMZ got shots of the getaway car.

It happened around 2:30 AM this morning, right in the middle of H-Wood -- Ivar and Sunset Blvds. There are multiple clubs nearby, but we don't know where the victim or the perp were before the incident. Our photog was walking to his car when he saw a man fire four or five rounds into another guy. The shooter jumped into a car and sped off and our photog caught the escape on tape.

The perp is Black male and was wearing a hoodie (hood was down). There was a black Hummer next to the escape car and they seemed connected.

The victim is in critical condition. Another man was also shot several times, but his injuries did not appear serious. Both were taken to the hospital.

31. Very nice your photographer helped out and all, but I dont' come to TMZ for TRUE CRIME stories or footage.
Stick with celeb gossip. The world is violent and sick enough and it is IN OUR FACES with out having to read about it on this site too.

32. Prayers are being sent up for the shooting victims! And TMZ ~ I, for one, am very happy that your cameraman was able to keep his wits about him during a very stressful time, & videotape the getaway car to help the police. You should be very proud to have him on staff.

33. Jenny G, you don't what to know what these freaks would say you, just standby. CAYSE, you're totally correct and it's not that the people were heartless, it's a crime scene and it needs to be preserved. The cops were there within minutes!!!!

36. I commend the cameraman for getting the shot of the car as it made it's hasty retreat but after that why wouldn't someone rush to the injured man's side and check on him for Christy's sake?

37. I can't believe how long it took for anyone to go over there and check on him. Everyone was so cavalier and casual, when there was someone lying motionless on the ground. It's shocking.

38. Cayse..you may be right in a lot of what you posted but let's remember one thing...this is supposed to be a celebrity gossip site..not a site for street crime or America's Most Wanted. DESPITE THE CREDIBILITY THEY CRAVE SO MUCH TMZ IS NOT A NEWS SITE OR SOURCE. They get self important with their "shucks ma..look I done a good thing" video os street crime and then they put it on the site when it has nothing to do a celeb sighting. The hit and run driver, now the shooting, the number of drunken fights they have shown because they flood the area with cameras does not make them a news organization. I spewed up coffee when I read "the perp"...guys, Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe is dead so drop the lingo and stick to the regular celeb crap. And stop the cheap sexual innuendos and smart talk..you are becoming less credible and dropping to the level of D listed.

39. Ok Mr "IS" or #15 - yes the cameraman could have helped that man laying on the ground in many ways.
1. Talk to the man - Is he conscious? Does he know who shot him? Pray with him or reassure him that help is on the way.
Don't just stand there and watch him suck concrete.
2. Make sure that 911 has been called.
3. Call 911 and give the dispatcher a description of the car.
4. Notify the police that video footage of the car is on your camera.
5. Notify the officers arriving on the scene that you witnessed the incident.
6. Help to reassure the grieving friends or shocked passers by.
7. Put down the camera and act like a frigin' human being...

41. Wow, this is pretty shocking, hope the TMZ guy gets credit for catching the shooter. Good Job TMZ.

We just don't have crime like this where I live, we've had maybe 3 murders in 10 years.

45. Why didn't you run after the shooter and hold him at a stop light until the cops came like that white boy did for his girl?

Also, black people are not the only ones who do drive by's, Mexican's do them as well, and well White folks are just to scared and that is why most serial killers are white, they like to kill quietly and make the Law hunt for them.

I hope this man recovers safely and they get the men who shot him. Killing is just plain stupid, you ruin to many lives and for what?
