Forget Dr. Oz -- Dane Cook Knows His Poop

Dane Cook's lawyer has dog s**t on the brain. He's grilling prospective jurors about their views on dogs and excrement.

Cook's landlord has gone to court, trying to get the "comedian" evicted because his dog habitually craps in the public areas of the apartment building. Dane's lawyer is asking prospective jurors a number of revealing questions, including:

- What's worse. Stepping in gum or stepping in dog poop?
- If you live next to a park and saw dog poop, would you avoid that park?
- Would you confront someone about spitting out gum on the sidewalk or not picking up dog poop in a public place?
- Would you confront a neighbor about picking up after their dog?

UPDATE: -- The s**t has hit the fan! The jury has been selected.

16. Why doesn't this idiot let his dog go to the bathroom on his lawyer's front stoop and see how he likes it. Anyone who sticks up for him deserves to step in it. He is ignorant to let other people have to put up with his "crap". He should be evicted, he is breaking the law, not the taxpayers. I hope someone puts it on his door.

17. I have a small dog. Anywherre he poops, I pick up. It is inane to believe it is okay
to leave poop. This should be a no brainer. I would feel like shooting (kidding) a
person that walked away from his dog's poop. If I find poop in my yard and I know
the offender, I pick it up and deliver it to their front door.

19. First, yeah, what is up about Dane having a landlord? I thought he had money - at least to purchase a home. But I do have to say, poop IS biodegradable, but that's coming from another dog owner. Maybe dog owners have a different point of view. Save the plastic bag - just dodge the poop. That's it - yeah, it's green and that's hip.

20. Not for nothing, but did you guys ever think that MAYBE, just MAYBE it's the landlord that's being the idiot? Think about who's site you're on...are you SURE it's Dane Cook that's being stupid? Or just TMZ? Really folks, maybe the landlord is taking Cook to court...think about this reallisticly people!!

21. I live in a small subdivision with quite a few dogs and kids. There are green "common" areas in the middle of each block, which is where the kids play. We have xeriscape(no grass) landscaping in our yard to conserve water, since we live in the desert. My dog is 8 years old and won't take care of her business on anything but grass. I make sure that I pick up after her, because I try to be a considerate person and think that part of owning a dog is cleaning up after your dog. It's not always the easiest or most convenient thing to do, but it's just a habit now. I even yelled at a lady who let her dog crap on the sidewalk. She watched me pick it up and I handed her the bag. Dane, you're a funny guy, but your neighbors don't enjoy stepping in your dog's mess.

Justin you are as dirty as your dog. Animals carries different diseases and for you to say that it is environmentally better is a pure dirty politics. I am disgusted by dog owner that let their dogs polluted the public places. Next time clean up after your dog to have a better cleaner and disease public area to stroll!

24. To #9, Dane Cook is the one wasting taxpayers money. Suppose you and all those who voted that Dane was not a sh*tty tenant, should rent your place to him and clean up after a dog that isn't yours. And to the idiots #1, 5 and 11, no one told you to read TMZ's website, And to Dane Cook, clean up your own sh*t! Or pay someone to do it for you!
