74. I was just thinking--and how it is a sin not to help someone when you can. I know if Shannon were here and was in a position that she would help any family member any way she could. I am pretty sure she did not have insurance-- not because she wasn't prepared but because living with a catasprophic illness--sarcadoiss you cannot get insurance. Shannon was so kind and generous in spirit and with everything. I miss Shannon so much. She was so smart, so witty, so thoughtful. When my mother died a few years a ago Shannon and her mother made it to my house immediately, accompanied me to the funeral home, took me shopping to get the things I needed for my mom's funeral. This was before she had her transplant--she helped me so much and she could barely breathe herself. I was so happy when so got her transplant, we were all so happy. Shannon always took time with the kids in our family and the children are so devastated with her lost. Shannon was a person that was loved and
anyone who knew her knows she was self-sufficient, industrious and giving. Shannon always shared positive, constructive comments and assistance. She invited me to church when I was feeling down, never forgot my kid's birthdays, called out of the blue just to check on me. She did this for so many people. I remember before Jayceon was a big star Shannon and her sister and mom played his CD that he had distributed through out the "hood." They were so geniunely proud of him in awe--he had basically did the entire CD himself and was marketing himself--this was before Dr. Dre. So when it was made public that Jayceon had volunteered to pay for half of the funeral it was no surprise because anyone who knew Shannon who was financially able would do atleast that. Shannon was such a wonderful, brave person and so compassionate. It is so ironic that a person who spent most of their life caring about others that mean spirited hateful comments would be hurled at the people she loved most her family. Shannon loved her family 100!! and we loved her too!!
