17. WOW. There sure are a lot of racist people who come to the tmz website. For everyone who talks about him because of his race and his name grow up. Obviously there is something missing in your life that you have to talk about him like that. Are you jealous that you can NEVER achieve everything that he has? Are you jealous that for once a BLACK man is going to be the next president of the United States? Who cares what is middle or last name is? Who says that all Muslims are bad? And who said he was a Muslim? He is a Christian! So before you start talking trash why dont you do your research? I thought this was 2008 and not the 1800's. It is so sad that racism still exists the way it does. I hope that my grandchildren do not have to endure this bs.

I usually don't get into this. but people ALWAYS refer to him as such, because the one-drop-rule is still in effect. If you don't know what that is, ask your closest black friend, neighbor, store clerk. They'll let you know. He's referred to as such, because he looks as such. Admit it. When you first saw him you didn't muse "Oh, wow, what a terribly dark-skinned white person.", did you? No you just thought he was black. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....well, you know the rest. If her were lighter-skinned, he would probably be referred to as bi-racial more than black. It's not about what his genealogical makeup is, it's about how he is perceived. Americans don't care about the facts, just what we WANT to believe.

PS - Why wouldn't you just think of him as our next president (if he wins)? After all, he is just as much black. Not trying to be funny, just asking.

FYI...put a drop of black in white and it is NEVER white. Be proud that your society has evolved in accepting a BLACK man as a promising candidate, and don't insult your persons by thinking so ignorant just to feel comfortable. It is something to be celibrated.

25. Actually Dee-Light and Owl Eyes--the rule is: if you have 1/16th black blood running through your veins, you are still black. Not half, definitely not white, but black. There is some "law" (for lack of a better word) that specifies such, but I can't remember what it's called. I'll have to do some research and get back to you on that one.

28. Wow I really can't believe how many racist people there are in this world. Every time I look at the responses on here I lose a little more faith in humanity. It's sad. Hate is such a wastful thing to use your time on. Instead you could be changing the world for the better, raising your children properly and making this world a better place. Instead people, black, white, and everywhere in between teach their children to continue the racism. Why would you put that terrible burden on your children? Why would you teach them that is ok? I sickens me.
