16. I think that it is just terrible that they are not thinking of what all of this fighting is doing to their children!! Grow UP the both of you and stop this , to have the open court was Christi's idea.... does she even realise what this is doing to her children and how this will haunt them. That is still their Dad and they love him so slamming him in public only harms the children. GROW Up and act like adults for the sake of your children.

17. Christie Brinkley a great mom and a stable person? Give me a break! I remember when she dumped Billy Joel, hooked up with her son's dad long enough to get in a helicopter crash, get pregnant, get married, and then get divorced. THEN....she hooked up with and moved in with Peter Cook (with the second husband's baby) before her second divorce was even finalized. In real life, and not "celebrity life," they have a name for a woman like that. I also know that the courts for us regular "normal" folk do not look favorably on subjecting minor children to such a loose, erratic, lifestyle of a parent. Christie Brinkley is a flake, and she is encouraging this circus because she is immature and angry!

Christie should get full custody of those children because narcisstic people only think of themselves and God only knows what kind of dad he really is when all he is thinking about is sex-when does he find time for the children? To all of those Christie haters out there who continue to slam her, remember something about this whole affair- which is ...She's not the one who was screwing around - HE was,and he deserves whatever he gets from all of this. He wanted a high profile wife, now he has to live with the stupid decisions that he made and live with the consequences just like anyone else would have to do, but only difference is is he's in the spotlight where he wanted to be from the beginning of their relationship.So buck up big boy and take your licks like a man should.

20. You can pay a shrink to say anything. They're one small step above lawyers on the sliminess scale.

If she does get custody, heck, even if she doesn't, she should be ordered to stay far away from any romantic entanglements until the kids are grown and out of the house. No dating and no new marriages. She has a terrible track record as far as making appropriate selections of a significant other and the kids have suffered enough. I know this would be hard for an attention whore who probably only feels alive when a man is paying attention to her but it is time for the self absorbed sow to GROW UP and think of someone else for a change.

23. Let's face it.....if Christie would have chosen to keep things 'private', her kids (and the rest of the world) would have found out every single gory detail anyway. There is NO WAY things would have been kept quiet. Cook is a pig, and if the kids have to know that, oh well, such is life. Maybe HE should have thought of that when he was having sex with teenagers and spending thousands per month on porn. Duh!

26. I think Christie has a lot of problems; but her 1st husband died. Her 2nd husband (Billy Joel) have remained close - even living next door to each other for a while. (She spent 4th of July with Joel and his wife) Her 3rd husband's marriage was ended almost immediately after the wedding because she found out that he was a liar and gigilo ( just wanting her money) She had left Joel when she was in the accident on the mountain and fell in love with Tubman. She did play around on joel at this time. She had a pretty long time with Cook (around 10 years) and I do not know if she is going about this correctly but Cook is so arrogant and perverted in his Ken doll looks. The girl he had an affair with may have been at the legal age of 18 but she had just become legal or their affair would have made him a child molester by a few months. The man is narcisstic and I have met many marcissist including my husband's mother. A narcissist will put everyones needs aside for his /her wants. They only focus on themselves. I think the children need to be monitored with him for a while. Finding porn on the computer was not the best for the boy. Spending $3,000.00 a month is an adiction! Get help for the children and GET HELP, COOK. Being a sperm donor does not make you a father - your computer got your sperm - be a father to that.

27. Cook is an ass, deserves every ounce of humiliation coming to him and in no way exhibits any redeeming qualities that a "Dad" needs to be to two precious children. Say what you want of Brinkley. Standing up and standing her ground is what a "Mother" ought to do, especially to such an undercover serial sleezy pervert. Why don't you wait until Peter Cook has his day in court before condeming him? The shrink who said those things about Peter Cook was part of Christie's presentation and was paid for by her team. I wouldn't call his opinion unbiased.
And why so hung up on sex? It's a natural, beautiful thing that alot of people enjoy having. Maybe Christie was holding out and stopped making love to her husband and acted like a total b!tch to him. If she was denying him any kind of affection, which is an important part of marriage for many couples, I can't blame him for looking for it elsewhere. Remember, Peter Cook is Christie's 4th husband and she has been the cheater in a couple of them, herself. That says alot about the type of person she is. I have no sympathy for Christie. Karma's a b!tch. Just like Christie!
