19. Whoever called Christie a gold digger must be an IDIOT! She's been a model since 19 and has made a fortune of her own. She was the one pretty much taking care of her ex-husband (Cook) not Joel as well as her children. She definitely doesn't need the money. Also, she's still as pretty as she was back at 19. I wish her all the luck in getting full custody of the children.

If that's all you have on Christie Brinkley then I say for a woman so beautiful - who could have as many men or which ever man she wants - she hasn't done that bad.

It's obvious that she does not sleep around but has poor choice in men - especially Peter Cook.

26. I don't know why everyone is so surprised at Christie's unforgiving response to an unforgivable marital transgression! She is unforgiving to the core...doesn't anyone remember her estranged father died trying to having death-bed reconciliation with her and she wasn't buying even a minute of it. Not sure what her beef with him was, but she said "No way....."
