Before becoming a supermodel and getting involved in her bitter divorce battle with Peter Cook (and less contentious divorces to Richard Taubman, Billy Joel and Jean-Francois Allaux), Christie Brinkley was just another gorgeous 19-year-old art student discovered at a post office in Paris.

Photographer Errol Sawyer discovered Christie and was the first to take professional photos of her way back in 1973.

Unlike her marital love, the 54-year-old's beauty does not fade.

47. She's beautiful and has handled this like a lady. She didn't let her pervert husband drag her down. She's not a gold digging slut, she had more money then her last husband and she was a supermodel when she married billy joel. Some of you people are women haters.

48. I've always wondered what happened to her eyes? They are uneven. And now that I see an earlier pic, they were not like that way back when. She had to have had some work done and it botched her eyes up. Still she looks good for her age. Just made stupid choices with men.

51. She looks absolutely radiant and smashing. A real siren.I wonder how many more fools out there are going to be blinded by her beauty and ultimately dragged publicly through the courts? She's more than a golddigger I think she genuinely enjoys humiliating theses chumps. No settlement money can compare with the satisfactions she must be getting making such a huge public spectacle of things. Yes her husband was a complete idiot,but why does the whole world have to know?
