19. WOW thats sad, My daughter had her reception there 2 years. The food was great and the service was extra special. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu was great if you like Cuban Food. And we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sad to see it go. Maybe someone will buy it and keep it going.

Hmmm wow how heartless to let people go in this economy, I guess the rich really do not understand what it's like for us working stiffs. She will have money coming in while her now former employees won't. Jennifer is one mean person for doing this. I also guess that because she doesn't care about her image this won't bother it at all. 27. Don't blame it on the ecomony when the dumpy resturant behind Madres has been going strong for 45+ Years!
Pie N Burger has got to be the dumpiest resturant ever but is standing room only..... to get the best burger in town! Only 4 table tops and the rest of the resturant is counter. Place is packed all the time! I think I needs to jog over there now!

28. i used to work across the street from this place. everything is closing on south lake in Pasadena. so im not surprised. i always wondered why she didnt open the restaurant on Colorado blvd. would of had way more business.

29. Thats really too bad, I used to go over there because really restaurant was very nice, and the customer service you got was outstanding always. It was too pricey! But Cuban food at its best.
Hopefully she opens it again and drops the prices down

30. There are simply people who don't give a S__T about other people who will be affected by their actions....Some celebrities have to outdo each other ... One opens a restaurant....the other opens one even if he/she doesn't have an understanding of the business...One puts out a clothing line..perfume...shoes....etc. ....the other starts doing the same......who stays the longest? ...one records a song....the other does the same even if he/she doesn't have the voice to do it......one goes to Africa...the other starts going too....."I must do what the other is doing" must be the motto..........Are these people doing these things because they believe in the cause? or is it just for publicity sake?
