J.Lo's Restaurant Huevos Goodbye

Now that she's a new mother, Jennifer Lopez has no need for Madre's -- her Latin restaurant has closed.

A sign on the Pasadena eatery says it shuttered on July 1st "until further notice." Madre's had been in business for over six years -- a lifetime in the world of celeb restaurants. In contrast, Britney's NYC joint NYLA lasted less than a year.

A rep for Jennifer has yet to get back to us.

31. All you people need to quit hating on her resturant and to the person who said it was too expensive no it was not. It was so resonably priced.. My plate for authentic puerto rican/cuban food would run about $16.00, sh*t i pay that sometimes at olive garden for some messed up food. The service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful. I am very sad. I am from the Bay Area and anytime my boyfriend and I are there we always go to this resturant. i have eaten there more than 8 times.. Hopefully she will re open...

33. 9. WHAT THE EFF DOES "SHUTTERED" HAVE TO DO WITH IT?!

"Shuttered" is what Ben Affleck did the morning he woke up and realize he was engaged to JLO!!


I understand you're being funny, but you do realize there is a difference between "shuttered" meaning to close up (like closing shutters), and "shuddered" meaning the sensation of fear or chills...

35. I never saw Madre's live-in-person. I never ate Puerto Rican food. Somehow Jennifer Lopez and I will meet each other. And I will find somewhere else to eat Puerto Rican food.

37. I hope,I need and I also need for Jennifer Lopez to re-open Madre's in Pasadena,CA, I live in Los Angeles,CA. I never ate Puerto Rican. I have ate Cuban food at other Cuban restaurants.

38. I have been eating Mexican food since I was a baby boy. I will look on the internet tomorrow to find where there are Puerto Rican Restaurants in Los Angeles,CA. I will look on the internet tomorrow afternoon Los Angeles time. I have Cuban black beans in my pantry in my apartment in L.A. I live in Los Angeles,CA. Ben Affelck is a loser. I hope,I need and I also hope that Jennifer Lopez will re-open Madre's in Pasadena,CA. or Jennifer Lopez will open up new Latin restaurant in Los Angeles,CA.
