I love KISS, they're great fun, and the tattoo is really well done - for a nice change! i see so many crappy tattoos and it's a shame when there are so many GREAT tattoo artists around....word to the wise, when it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for!!! this guy obviously spent a bit of $$ on work by a good artist

and as for comment #3 - 'tattoos are for losers'

well, "Ray", it's too bad you can't appreciate all artforms and would make such a generalized comment, but that just goes to show that in 2008 some people are still living in the dark ages and can't tolerate different types of people.

also, i doubt you'd make such a comment to a heavily tattooed individual in person...i'm going to 'generalize' here myself and assume you're a coward, and probably cry when you stub a toe...

we LOSERS sure can withstand a whole lot of pain for our art...can you withstand a whole lotta pain for your big fat ignorant mouth??

21. Do you actually think he is the only fan with KISS tattooed on him? There are probably thousands out there...I've seen plenty myself.
It's pretty sad that just because someone doesn't like this band (probably into Good Charlotte or Fall Out Boy), they feel a need to critcize. Wake up people....they've been around for over 30 years and still sell out wherever they go. At any given show, you will see tots to grandparents. That says a lot. You don't have to like them, just accept the fact that they are here to stay.
Incidentally, Gene is a very kind and genuine man in person. His stage persona is an act. But you people keep on buying it...so he'll keep on selling it!

26. Family Jewels is great, I love how his kids love but are totally embarassed by him. Who knew this guy never drank or did drugs? .. just don't let him babysit ;) As for the tat... to each his own, it's cool though that Gene took the extra minute to actually get a picture of the kid and his tat, obviously a big fan, I'm sure he'll forever remember that experience.. it's nice that some celebs actually show some fan appreciation now and then.

Tattoos take talent? Come on! They trace an outline and then color it in. Kind of like when you were in
2nd grade and you got a coloring book. I admit some tattoo "artists" are very talented and I could not do
any better, but for the most part a high school freshman with some talent could do just as well.
