63. They wanted to be together since they were young but his mother wouldn't allow it. Shame she didn't. Diana didn't need to go through what she did if Charles had been able to marry Camilla many many many years before meeting Diana. They will be together for eternity.

It is sad that Charles & Diana were married - as someone has already mentioned. I too, believe that Charles always loved Camilla from when they were young and he never stopped loving her. Camilla was unacceptable to the royals, and Charles was ordered to find a sweet, young, and innocent girl to produce an heir to the throne. Charles went along with it because that was the way he was brought up - to be obedient to the throne.

Too bad for the royals, that Diana believed that she should have been treated better than she was, and wouldn't keep her mouth shut. She seemed to be a good person and spent her time supporting many charities. She died too young and her sons lost their mother.

69. There is nothing left to say. Camilla the Hun, traded for Diana, Goddess of the Hunt. He will never reign supreme, he is just a royal pain. Poor Diana for thinking he was special. No matter how many suits he wears, his true worthlessness always shines through.

71. For the record, when Charles was much younger he was in love with Camilla, but his uncle advised him to take a year away from her...and not to marry her. Charles tookhis uncless advice against his own heart, and she married someone else. Neither of them were happy about it, and ultimately Charles did his duty and married a virgin...not for love but out of duty. He should have had more of a spine when he was younger and not listened to his uncle and gone with his first love...things would have been quite different. Camilla, for all her lack of external "beauty" does have many appealing qualities, she is his peer, they like many of the same things and she truly does love him....I don't think Diana was ever given the chance too. I blame Charles Unce more than anyone for the clusterf^&k that became his life for many years! I think he deserves happiness, peace, and the pleasure in life he gets from his relationship with Camilla, and no one else should dictate who you love and marry!
