Christie Brinkley and her rat of a husband Peter Cook officially have settled.
We're still learning specifics, but we do know that Christie will keep custody of their two kids and he'll have visitation. She also gets to keep the sick ass pad in the Hamptons, among other real estate.
We're also hearing she has to pay him $2.1 mil. The nerve!

The kids ALREADY were subjected to this. He did his internet porn on his SON'S computer and the son logged on and had seen it BEFORE this. PETER jerk off COOK demanded custody and much more money and she called his bluff and took his ass to court. Don't judge a mother for protecting her kids and not paying him anymore than she had to. She paid him way too much as it is.

21. Another article I read said she gets to keep the " 18 " Properties in the Hamptons - 18 mind you. She ought to sell one of them and get some psychiatric help herself. After 4 husbands, it might be you Christie that has a problem too. Don't let there be a 5th husband - enough is enough already.

23. She openly said over and over that she wanted to settle. I think that's why this ever went public--she was trying to get him to settle before going to trial. I think he called her bluff to get more money from her. At the end of the day, she was always willing t pay him off. I dont think he was ever in serious contention to get custody of the children--and he knew it. Not with this cocain conviction, sex addiction and judgement. Each and every professional recommended Christie as the custodial parent. On Larry King his lawyer totally side-stepped the custody issue. I think this was always a ploy on his part to get as much money as she would give. I'd be interested to hear what the private detectives would have had to say!

24. Same situation but change the genders and the female almost always gets at least half. I don't think he should get anything but I also don't think Mrs. Arod or Mrs. McCartney should get anything either. Distribution of assets should always be, what you brought into the marriage plus what you earned in terms of real assets, minus what you consumed. Housework and child tending is living and has no tangible accounting value. Consume more than you earn or brought into it then you get nothing upon divorce. Never works that way, does it?

25. I have to agree with Jan. He wanted the kids so he could get some of her real estate to live the life he got used to. As for her being older, she is only 3 years older - doesn't mean much. Stop and think that if he is into porno sites & exposing himself, he may also be in a kiddie porn site. HE IS A SLEEZE! Those PI's must have some more dirty stuff on him. They were seperated for a while & he would not agree to anything unless she gave up her real estate - So, she aired it to the public to get him to give in. She may be angry, but she is more a concerned mother for her children even if it means going through the humiliating coverage she has received. All good mothers fight hard for their kids. Hindsight is 20/20, but Christie tried every move to settle before trial--ant threatening a public trial was one of those moves. I would have thought it would have worked and I'm sure she thought so too. He just called her bluff for more money. As for his "advising her to buy the Hampton properties", anyone could have done that--Hampton realestate is always a great investment. I'm sure several advisors told her the same thing, so that is not really relevant. Plus, they did have a prenup--which was why he was willing to cal her bluff--to get more.
To the writer who says that women usually get half. Not with solid prenup agreements they don't. They are just usually the primary child care providers.
