JagWired -- NFL Star Busted for Drugs

Matt Jones, a former number one draft pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was popped early this morning in Fayetteville, Ark. after cops found him sitting in a parked car, "cutting up" a white substance. Wonder what that was??

Cops say they approached the car and found the wide receiver inside, using a credit card to chop up what appeared to be cocaine. Cops drew their guns at Jones after he did not immediately put his hands up.

Also inside the car, police say they found a jar containing possible pot residue and another baggie with a white substance. Jones allegedly admitted that it was cocaine.

Cops arrested Jones and two other passengers in the car.

20. I live where he was arrested and I'm glad to see him in jail! I don't want my children seeing some idiot who has nothing better to do than sit in his car with his druggie friends just to feed their addiction.

23. #15---your and idiot. Arkansas was never in the Big 12. They were in the Southwest Conference. When the conference broke up or whatever, Arkansas went to the SEC. Which is a great conference, LSU, Florida, Georgia. Seems like we have alot of national champs. Big 12. Suck this big 12.

24. first off, the razorbacks were never in the big 12. they were in the swc and then moved to the sec 10-15 years ago i would guess.

i always have loved matt. he had moments of pure magic when playing for the hogs-- most notably the classic overtime games. i hate this happened, he could have snorted me instead.

30. I think the title of the story id misleading. To call Jones a NFL star is a bit overplaying his NFL career.
