17. #14 Tommy Rettig who played Jeff Miller died from a heart attack at 54 in 1996. This is Jon Provost's 50th anniversary as Timmy. I was at the talk and signing last night and he is so nice, so interesting -- and so handsome. Oh those baby blues and that dimple! Made time to talk to everyone, pose for photos, sign memorabilia people brought. He was wonderful. I bought his book: Timmy's in the Well and dove in as soon as I got home. Wow, it is great. It includes interviews with so many of his peers...it's just amazing. This guy is the genuine article.
