Ryan Seacrest may have some stiff competition in the big tipper department.
TMZ spies caught Martin Lawrence dining with two members of his posse at Musashi Japanese restaurant in Simi Valley, CA -- where he apparently dropped $120 dollars on a $140 bill. Watch your back, Seacrest!

(Page 1 of 1)It was probably a mistake, why would anyone give such a huge tip unless something that wasn't on the menu was served ;-)
Where are dining next Mr. Lawrence (so I can get a job there as a server)?
$120 big deal he makes that in what about 10 seconds i have tiped that much and i only make $14 an hour
You go Martin, you understand that the waitress make a living off of tips. Good looking out.
I think it's very nice when a celeb leaves a big tip. I'm sure that he was just being generous.
What a nice thing to do, Martin!
the overage will be applied as
unpaid child support on his taxes......
It is easy to be generous when you know people are watching and it is going to
be in the press. He was probably trying to impress the Asian or White waitress. I had a
conversation with a waitress neighbor once and she said that Blacks are far and away the
worst tippers. She also said that on Sunday when football was in season people did not
tip any better if their team won.
In reference to skylab99's comment, that is one neighbor, one waitress and this huge world that we live in reporting to you that blacks all over the nation are poor tippers, that is so very ignorant. I am black and on average try to tip 20-25% on each and every bill. If the service is poor and the caucasian person that is my wait staff appears to have a problem with serving me a black person, I tip appropriately for that situation, which may be in the 0-5% range.
is funny to me because al the black people who wanna be white live in Simi lol
