Cops Say Jackson Went On Rampage

Former UFC light heavyweight champ Quinton "Rampage" Jackson got busted just minutes ago, and is currently in custody on the way to the clink -- but not before he was ordered to the ground, cops nearby with guns drawn.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Rampage was in a car crash near Newport Beach (that's near Laguna Beach in the O.C.) and then split the scene. Cops gave chase and eventually caught up and charged him with felony hit and run and felony evading arrest.

Here's the deal about the dumbest hit and run ever. Notice the truck he tried evading police in -- the one with the giant picture of him plastered on the side!

We're told there could be additional charges. No word yet on whether Rampage resisted arrest.

Bad week. He got his ass handed to him last week (courtesy of Forrest Griffin) and just got it handed to him again.

61. Wow! Can you guys be anymore racist? Do you really think this is all funny? Sad. And you probably consider yourselves religious people. Yes, this is the biggest and dumbest thing he has ever done, but racial jokes and comments are just plain ignorant... TMZ, get it right. Rampage did not get his ass handed to him. 62. Not sure what happened during this "chase" with Rampage, but wait for all the facts to come out before making blanket accusations and condemning the man. He's a good person, so I'm hoping there is a good explanation. As a former cop, I encountered people more often than you would think who were having diabetic episodes, which mimic the actions of a drunk or drugged driver. Who knows? Maybe that's what happened here.

63. UGH. Rampage is the better fighter - but of course all the losers on here who only started watching MMA once Spike started airing fights wouldn't know that. Losers.

Griffin won fair and square THIS TIME, obviously, but please don't go on about how Rampage got his ass completely handed to him, etc., blah, blah, idiotic ramblings, blah. It didn't look like a knockout to me - idiots (you know who you are), did it really look like a knockout to you? Looked like Rampage stood his ground until the end... yes, he lost, but the fact that he wasn't knocked out completely destabilizes you're idiotic comments about getting his ass whooped shamefully.

And what the hell is up with the racist comments? What the F*CK does that have to do with ANYTHING? Idiots. "E-coward" is the biggest retard in here.
