46. OMG I despise and detest vile Elisabeth Hasselback more each time I see her and hear her HORRID VOICE!! She is so rude to Whoopi and imo is a racist in the closet. She has been building up for a meltdown for a long time and the Beotch refused to stfu as Barbara was trying to get her to do. Barbara needs to fire her immediately! How can she stand the rude obnoxious twit?

Elisabeth is hated along with her stupid opinions. She and her husband are two hypocrites. Tim H. needs to join the Marines, put his money where his mouth is and go fight the war he and Elisabeth love and support so much. She needs to stfu about her brat "Grace" as why would she even be discussing the "n" word with a possibly retarded/delayed three year old problem child (based on Elisabeth's comments about the brat) UNLESS she and her husband use it all the time themselves at home (probably in reference to Whoopi and Sherri) when they are discussing the show for that day?

Most people would think that it is okay to make fun of their own family members. These same people however would take offense if someone from outside their family made the exact same comments about their family. I don't think the use of the N word is really any different.

now that is as cold blooded as it is hatful! If you have a mentally disabled member of your family (God forbid), do you sit around laughing & calling them a drooling retard? If you have someone in your family with cerebral palsy, do you sit around jerking & twitching, laughing about them not being able to feed themselves, calling them poopie pants? If you have an elderly parent or grandparent with Alzheimer's, do you laugh at their inability to remember who they are, hide their most precious items from them, laughing all the while??? 48. I am convinced that the reason The View is passed over for the daytime Emmy awards time and time again is the weakest link, Elisabeth. She interrupts,overrtalks, doesn't listen and rarely has a valid point. Not to mention that her high pitch voice is totally annoying. While today was the exception, her point was valid, I think she needs to be replaced by someone who while having conservative views, can actually think for themself and articulate their views.

49. Elisabeth is right on. How can you move forward in a society if some people can use the N word and others can't. That word should be banned from all music and media. I don't understand how black people can call themselves that word and yet other races cannot use it. It's like Blacks are degrading themselves. The word has a negative history to it that no one should be using in this day and age. How can we improve our relationships with each if just bad words are still being used (not just the N word). Whoopi needs to get off her soap box. We are talking about today and our future. By reliving the past we cannot move forward. We cannot change what has been done in the past but we can make a change for our future and our children's future.
