Celebrity Justice
Round 2 -- Cops Nab "Rampage" Again

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has been picked up by police again.

Sources say around 4:30 PM yesterday, friends who were hanging out with Rampage, waved down an Irvine police car after they were worried about his behavior. This, of course, following the insane chase the day before in which the UFC fighter hit several cars in his monster truck and was arrested at gunpoint.

We're told Irvine cops saw Rampage, deemed him a danger to himself and others, and took him to a hospital for observation. Rampage was very cooperative with police.

Cops won't officially confirm if it's a psychiatric hold.

Story developing...

46. ok. so rampage obviously has some problems. if anyone watched the tv series this season, then we all saw a glimpse of this. he and forrest had a few words with each other and dana described it as "my two goofballs went tito and shamrock on me". he even admitted he had anger problems that he is trying to work through. rampage is a great man and excellent fighter. can everyone please give him the respect he deserves? he just needs to work through his problems. hopefully his family, friends, fans and the ufc, will all stick by him.

47. I was a fan of Rampage after watching him coach on the UFC. He seems like a likable guy who happens to beat people into a pulp for a living. No one can say with a straight face that this guys don't juice to train through the hellacious conditioning they go through for the savage beatings they take. Also, no one can say with a straight face that these guys don't do something to blunt the hideous pain they suffer after a fight...I'd smoke weed 24/7 & getting beaten like that.

50. #15 your comments are insensitive and rude. Mental illness is NOT a cop out. It is something that s serious and if Rampage suffers from it I hope he gets the help he needs.

51. I have to agree with the fact that Rampage is a very humble, and classy man who is always been a great role model and good natured person. So this looks to me like some kind of mental disorder, or medication reaction. Coupled with his recent loss and possibly a head trauma. Griffin doesn't hit hard is what they say, but any martial artist can kill easily with one blow. Get better Rampage, our prayers are with you.

54. Black men need to have other avenues to make money. Beating each other up in pseudo matches does a job on the brain and a mind is a trouble think to waste. To top that off, the people holding these events will make more money than you ever will. So to all of you brothers out there who want to be a fighter, use Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier's current medical states as your baseline for your whack career decision.

It's bad enough that beatings take place on the streets of America. And to top that off, the people holding these events will make more money than you ever will. So to all of you brothers out there who want to be a fighter, use Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier's current medical states as your baseline for your whack career decision.

56. ok seriously, rampage jackson is a great guy, and he would never do anything like this. At first I thought he was drunk, or on drugs, but he tested negative. People are saying his loss triggered a "episode", that isnt it. What do you think happens when you get your head knocked around. I think that forrest griffin shook somethin loose in that fight, seriously, i think he has serious head trama, and thats what is causing irratic behavior.

57. This comment is towards "just asking". What do u mean by whats with black athletes and crime......sounds a but biast to me man. Rampage is a stand up guy ive had the privledge to meet him. Not only is he a great guy hes also very funny. No one on this thread knows what hes going through so dont be an ass and throw judgement. Something could have happened in his life that no one but him knows about and could be a very traumatic situation for him right now.....so unless your in his shoes try being a decen human being and not trying to slander someone . my 2 cents.
