Might as well call Jeff Archuleta "Geppetto," because it's clear he's still the puppet master behind the scenes of his son's career. Yesterday at LAX, David echoed Daddy's every word.

Jesus, if his Dad wasn't there beside him the whole way... he'd turn into Britney!
He young, and needs a "handler". Obviously, he's too young to make decision's on his own.
So instead of a stranger for a "PR" person, he has his Dad.
Wish my Dad was into my career and watching over me when I was younger.

17. Let David grow into the man he will be one day. Once he is ready - only he can know for sure when that time is. His dad is doing what good fathers should be doing - guiding his kid and keeping an eye out for trouble. How can you fault that?

23. I, too have had the pleasure of talking with Jeff several times and there is no way any of the stories about him are true. He is a soft spoken, humble, genuine man who loves his son dearly. The thing he cares about most is David and he is very protective of him. Like a good father should be. Seriously if this is all TMZ has - great! More publicity for David. His new single comes out Aug. 12!

TMZ you think you know everything about the Archuletas well guess what you don't..David A's parents are the kindest and most caring people i have ever met. And if you so much care about David A then you wouldn't be bashing his Dad who David loves. I have met them and i just want to say that all the rumors about jeff and lupe are false, he is not obnoxious, he is one of the nicest and kindest people and caring...Tons of people have met Jeff and they say he is one of the nicest and awesome parent
you make me sick.... so unless you can start backing up these "stage dad" claims then stop spreading lies, it is not right.

28. Seriously... Give it up on this kid. I've met him multiple times and he is the sweetest thing ever. I've actually even had an extensive conversation with his dad and he is also very nice. They are both quiet and shy. Just leave them alone. You really have nothing on them.

30. This is another sad attempt by TMZ to try and save face since all of their stories about Jeff Archuleta have proven to be false. TMZ is going to take every chance they can get to try and make Jeff look bad in an attempt to save their reputation, and I use the word reputation very lightly. TMZ should thank it's lucky stars that the Archuleta's are good enough people that they are not suing for slander. This should be a lesson in why it's best to simply tell the truth in the first place. I was pleased however to see that the guy asking the questions in the airport was at least courteous this time. The bottom line is that David Archuleta is one of the most kind hearted and genuine people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. I'm sorry folks, but this kind of kid simply does not come from bad parenting.
