K-Fed and Lawyer Cash In

Settlement means payday for K-Fed and his lawyer.
TMZ has learned under the terms of the settlement, that will become a done deal shortly, K-Fed will get more child support, i.e., more jack in his bank. Currently, he pulls in $15,000 a month from Britney. Under the deal, he'll get just south of $20,000.

As for K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, there's something in this settlement for him. Kaplan, who wanted a trial last month, will now settle and get an additional $200,000 from the bank of Britney.

And, we've learned the court has officially vacated the trial date, even though settlement papers have not been filed. So, no trial, and that's the real headline in this case.

P.S. Legal and physical custody were never at issue because of the conservatorship. The fact is, since last month, Brit has almost doubled her custodial time with the kids.

using the courts to get more money AFTER his
" marriage " payments stopped in november, is ludicrous.

let alone the time, pain and sufferance,
in the long run, KFED UP comes out less.

you figure the attorneys fee
were in excess of $1.5 alone.

if they would have NOT gone the court room route,
they could have easily been granted an additional
$10 grand a month for the next 15 years.

NOBODY except the lawyers
win when you go that way.

this has ALWAYS been about
more money for KFED UP.

period.

now that the biggest chunk has been paid out
to the blood sucking attorneys, it came out to
only be about a few grand a month ?

please.

this will be appealed year after year......

80. We have NO right to judge Britney or KFed on their decisions on this. They are both happy with the outcome. And this has nothing to do her not wantng the kids and only working on her career. In order for some people to get better, focusing on keeping yourself busy and productive helps you get thru the hard times. I know - I have been there but we have NO right to judge them. The focus of BOTH parents was their kids and that showed today.

81. Leave Britney alone! She is a Great mom. How many of you give your ex-husband $20,000 per month
to watch your kids after the courts took them away from you? Britney can't help it if she had a
break down. Nobody asks to have mental illness.

82. When the children get to be 3 or 4 I can leave them alone to play "Wizards of War" on my
X-Box while I go and look for aluminum cans.

83. the judge has made it his right to judge her and has made his decision. the courts took her children away from her for their own welfare. also its not his fault that hes not in the same position that she put herself in.

84. To all you folks that gushed over Britney saying she loved her kids, but was "confused", TOLD YA!!!, no mother who loves her kids does what she did. It's obvious she never wanted them, now she has proven it. She gave away her kids.

85. All of you people want to voice your opinions, that's fine, you have every right, but have you been in a situation similar to this? How many of you have had to send your kids to their other parents house kicking and screaming? Have you had to go to Friend of the Court every week because the other parent isn't paying child support? Have you had to tell your kids that you can't afford to buy them the toy they want because every last penny you have is paying a lawyer because your ex can't follow court orders.

Nobody knows exactly what is going on with these two, but why shouldn't Britney be held accountable for her actions. She is the one who did all the crap that caused Kevin to need to get a lawyer. He fought for his kids, what did she do?

I owe my lawyer thousands of dollars all because my ex can't get his act together and take care of his kids. If he had money, I'd be doing the same thing as Kevin and his lawyer.

KFED UP is currently RECEIVING $15 grand a month
PER CHILD; a total of $30 grand for child support.

to SUPPORT the children in a comparable
lifestyle away from their mother's home.

an ADDITIONAL $10 grand a month for
BOTH is NOT what KFED UP had in mind.

HE can;t live a " ballers " lifestyle for the
next 15 years on $40 grand a month ?

the answer is absolutely no way..

especially when he was with UNIFITNEY
living over $150 plus grand a month.

looking at the forest and not the trees,
KFED UP went from sharing a 2 bedroom
apartment TRYING to get back up dancing
gigs and making LESS than $20 grand a YEAR, to
sharing a lifestyle in excess of a million a year, to now this.

he probably soulfully feels he
EARNED it and it is OWED to him.

we can trust this will be appealed
every time UNFITNEY gets out of line...

Laura Wasser is one smart cookie. She talks about Britney "getting more custodial time", but in reality Britney has zero custody. She only has visitation, which at this time, is always monitored.

Maybe Britney, the very young, and the "not so smart people" believe that she is on her way to 50/50 custody, but I can clearly see that there is no way that that will ever happen for at least a decade.

If you read between the lines, you can tell the visitation - (not custody), will end if Britney is not monitored when she has visitation with her sons. There is a reason for this, but TMZ will not allow me to post what I think the reason is. One day the truth will come out.

I also believe that the conservatorship will continue at least concerning her financial concerns. I'm not so sure about her personal concerns. I'm thinking that maybe the court wants to see how she will conduct herself without a guardian controlling her day to day decisions.

Lastly, I want to say that Britney giving sole custody to Kevin, was really the only option she had available. If she had tried to fight, she would have lost, and I really find it distasteful that people act like these are only Britney's kids, when they are truly Kevin's kids, too.

90. Goodness you brit fans are hood winked by your idol. To those that think this is a conspiracy by Kevin and his lawyer to "force" the courts to give him sole custody..... Go to school, learn the court system. You are uneducated without a clue on how the real world works.
She agreed to full/sole custody to AVOID A TRIAL! She wanted to avoid the world finding out what she is truely like. She wants her fans to continue to believe the crap she and her pr team has been feeding you about her so called "mental" problems. The question is.... what dirt does Kevin and his lawyers really have on britney?????
It must be pretty bad. I would bet, drug abuse. child abuse, alcohol and abandonment. It would take at least two of these things to have her children taken away by the courts.
Kevin did the right thing by his children
brits fans are just going to have to realize their idol is not worth their money or their time. Find someone more deserving.
