Charity huh? What are the names of the charity, no one ever mentions which charities. AND THEY DO RECEIVE MORE THAN A DIME. 20. Jc your logic makes no sense. Have you seen TDK ? How d you know Ledger's performance isn't Oscar worthy ? When Brandon Lee died why didn't he get an Oscar for The Crow ? What about Chris Farley ? What about Alliyah ? What about Brad Renfro ? Ledger will get an Oscar nom and a possible win because his performance is amazing... anytime he's not on screen you wish he would come back. Also in 2005 The New York times compared Ledger to a young Marlon Brando, was Ledger dead then ? No !!

Jennifer Anniston is so ugly with that angular face, and she's older than Angelina, about the same age as Brad Pitt, her ex-husband. She's now in her 40's and all she has is paid-for boobs.............LOL.............Brad and Angelina hit the jackpot -- twins, a boy and a girl. Bet they're so beautiful.

23. If Angelina & Brad want to donate their photo money to charity, I say "go for it!" It's a win-win situation. It's money going toward a good cause & they earn half back. Other celebs should take notice. Then maybe we ordinary people won't look at celebs and think of them as money hungry snobs cause at least they would be helping make the world a better place.

Keep talking smack about Angelina! You're making her MORE famous and she and her kids are laughing all the way to the bank!

As for Heath Ledger....if he was still alive, the movie probably would have done about as good as all the other Batman movies. Jack Nicholson was and IS the only Joker in my book. Like someone said above....once you're dead, everyone thinks you're freakin' great!

24. Regarding the allegation that the DRC School in Namibia never received the promised donation: The fact is money was NOT promised to the DRC School. Money was promised to and received by the DRC School Project and Community Center based in Namibia. The DRC School and the DRC School Project and Community Center are two separate and independent organizations. Also, $300, 000 were given to two hospitals to upgrade equipment for the maternity wards. Smaller grants went to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program ($137,935), According to the Acting Secretary General of Namibia’s Red Cross, the donation was paid, as promised, some time ago but “international monetary and tax regulations” had been responsible for the hold up in the delivery.

In 2007, Jolie and Pitt donated $100,000 to build a medical centre in the Sudan. The Duk Lost Boys Clinic will be Duk County's first modern medical facility. In fact, according to the first federal filing for the Jolie Pitt Foundation, the couple put over $8 million into their tax-free instrument. Pitt put in $4,402,317. Jolie donated $4,123,613.Their first years’ donations totaled a whopping 2,367,935. The biggest amounts were $1 million apiece to Doctors Without Borders (International Division) and to Global AIDS Alliance. Other donations included $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation, $100,000 to Global Green USA and to the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation; $5,000 each to two orphanages visited by Jolie; and $20,000 to an art park in Los Angeles. And all this is separate from Pitt’s contributions to the Not On Our Watch fund to help Darfur and his work in New Orleans.

This year their foundation recently donated $1 million to children affected by the Iraq war: $500,000 for school supplies and education programs for refugee children in Iraq and $500,000 for American children who either lost a parent deployed in Iraq or have a parent serving in that country. The donations for American children will go to a tutoring initiative at the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program. Jolie has been donating one third of her income to charity for years…

25. #22, why does a negative comment about AJ always lead to a Jennifer Aniston bashing? What does JA have to do with Brangelina? Maybe people are just sick of hearing about Angelina and her pregnancies and adoptions, etc, etc. She is no Mother Earth. Mother Earth would not have had a whole host of hospital rooms so she could have privacy or being living in a leased $60million dollar estate.

I've said it before--the real heroes and giving people are those who do so without the expectation of a return. Brangelina want the publicity--end of story--they have plenty of money to donate without pimping out their babies. Please, if you want to praise those who truly sacrifice for others place your adoration on the policeman, fireman, teachers, rescue workers, nurses, etc., they deserve it so much more. And most of all our military for their neverending loyalty to our way of life. Without them, Brangelina and others like them wouldn't be getting millions of dollars for pretending to be something or someone they are not.

As a parent of a military person in Afghanstan. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You are so right. These celebrity hogs are just looking for more PR.

Firemen, policemen, military - get paid 1/100th of these celebreties, work 12 hour shifts, and keep signing up for more so that the rest of us can enjoy our secure lifestyles. Everytime Angelina goes somewhere and needs all her escorts, bodyguards and nannies, remember the military. they go into these war zones, ALONE.

30. to Mary and Jen Fan: one has nothing to do with the other. Appreciation for Jolie's humanitarian work does not have anything to do with belittling the military or policemen, etc., so don't confuse the issue. Since early 2001, on behalf of UNHCR, she has been to over 20 countries, most of them still wartorn. She has spent that time in refugee camps, rape camps and amputee camps. These are not glamorous photo ops. She does not travel to these places with body guards, nannies and hairdressers. She usually goes to these places...alone. And pays her own way. Granted, she does not fight on the front lines, but does bear witness to the aftermath of war. It's fine if you do not like her, but don't use our soldiers as excuses for your ill-informed animosity.
