Graziano's Struggles Are Lifelong

7/19/2008 3:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

John Gaziano and Nick HoganJohn Graziano finally will be able to receive reconstructive cranialplasty surgery to replace the hole in his head -- now that the swelling has lessened enough for doctors to operate.

It has now been close to a year since the damaging car accident with Nick Hogan -- and John remains in a permanent state of hospital care.

The life of John Graziano has been permanently altered, and the Marine Corps Times tells of the struggles that Graziano now faces day to day ... a struggle that has been overshadowed by the Hogan family and their continuous drama.

Nick Hogan only thinks he has it bad.

John was wearing a seatbelt, and had the shoulder bruising from it. It owuldn't have mattered, the headrest from his seat was squashed. Why are people asking about seatbelt use, in the report it shows the passenger was belted.

I was just out with my 3 year old, walking while she rode her bike. When we were about to leave, she sat on her bike, pretended to grab a seatbelt and attach it, then began to ride. All I could think was "too bad she couldn't have taught John Graziano that".

In about 8 or so days Nick's going to be worrying about a sore, gaping hole. But it won't be the one in John's head.

The Work Place Sucks!

He was responsible for himself getting into a car with someone that was drinking. Why blame the driver when you are stupid enough to get into the car too, blame is to go around, not just use one guy as a scapegoat. such ignorance.

I can not even imagine the pain he is in and his family. My heart goes out to John and his family. I hope that he is not a vegitable the rest of his life. I do doubt that he will survive the cranial operation, at least then he will be at rest if he does pass. I truely am surprised they have not pulled the plug yet, if they haven't then they must believe there may be hope he can come back someday, even if it may take 20 years. I just wonder what type of medical bills are piling up, and since Nick was a minor, his parents should have responsibility to pay them, especially since the car was theirs.
I would like to know more about his condition and what his chances are start coming back. As for Nick, I had hoped he would take his time like a man, but I guess he is not. The adult thing to do would be to help not hurt the situation any more.

to #8: i understand what you are saying, but I think the point is that people are upset about the way the entire Bollea are dealing with this accident that put John where he is. The Bolleas have handled the whole matter with no class and have shown just how shallow they are...

All of the arguments pointing to John as the victim actually make him look worse... One person says that John was sober... John and Nick were racing John's friend. John and the friend were adults.. supposedly it should make the hogans look bad because Hulk Hogan supposedly supplied the liquor involved in this accident. But here is the thing. Had John been sober, had he been wearing a seatbelt, had he been a responsible adult and said to Nick and the friend involved hey dudes lets be adults, Lets not break the law, Hey I dont want to go to jail for contributing to the delinquincy of a minor.. had he done any of those things and still got injured then he would be indeed a victim. But the facts are that John did not behave in an adult manor. John participated in getting drunk with a teenager. No matter who supplied the liquor John did indeed participate. John, along with his adult friend did indeed agree to race the cars. John did indeed think it was a good idea and a safe idea to race his friend without at the very least wearing a seatbelt. And John paid a heavy price for his actions. John is not a victim! John is at the very best a very bad influence for teenagers and the worst he is a criminal. Had he not been injured he wouldve not only been in joil but his sentence would most assuredly been longer than Nick's because he was an adult!

The Bellaire Beach Hillbilly's are yesterdays news. Linda is a cocaine addled over the hill slam-pig, Hulk is banging his own daughter, Brooke is a cat funt and Nick the retard is in jail, where he should be. Next time you are in a court of law Terry, take off your do-rag, it's okay we all know you are bald. The ratings of American Gladiators is in the toilet, and I don't think there was anyone that watched the chubby daughter's show. Buh bye "Hogans".....
