Steven Adler -- who was arrested for drugs and an outstanding warrant yesterday -- appeared outside the LAPD Hollywood station with his bail bondsman, and was in bright, er, spirits.
Next stop: Dr. Drew's.

17. It looks like Slash and Adler are the only two people from GN'R that retained the same hairstyle that they had when GN'R first started out. For Slash, it still works.....he wouldn't be Slash without his signature wild hair. For Adler.......not so much. His look reminds me of Dave Mustaine in the Metallica: Some Kind of Monster bio, when he was still sporting his hairstyle from the '80's while the rest of Metallica had gotten modern haircuts. I wonder if it's a curse......when you get kicked out of a band, you have to keep the same hairstyle forever!?!

19. Hard to believe this guy is back on drugs ...back in the day Adler suffered a stroke and was briefly comatose and now has a speech impediment on account of it... Wow I guess some people never learn.

22. It is a crying shame what has become of Mr. Adler.
Back in the day at the height of their fame I had a chance to meet Guns and Roses (just prior to the release of the Paradise City video), my best friend was dying of leukemia and it was her "dream come true".
We spent the weekend with these guys and Mr. Adler was the sweetest of the bunch, he had a wonderful personality and just went out of his way to make our visit special.
The scent of pot was very heavy at the studio and at 15 we were even offered it.
He is about as hard core as it gets were heroin is concerned having used long and hard it is not something that is easily overcome.
I have seen people with even brief habits almost loose everything and take years to get past it.

the only way a bail bondsman is gonna take someone stright back to LA county jail straight from the station is basically because you bailed someone out WITHOUT their consent and permission, and when you go to collect your fee, the customer says "F YOU because i didnt agree with you to be bailed out...im not gonna pay you" and then you threaten to take him to jail, its the bails bondsman way to embezzel money out of you...they basically scare you into paying them...AND ITS A CRIME!!! how do i know this? BECAUSE I AM A BAIL BONDSMAN in the San Fernando Valley, its a scam 50% of bail bondsman do and like i said ITS AGAINST THE LAW, but people dont know that so they give it to it. they figure "im already out, i better pay him" i dont do it and know alot of guys who dont but alot do it. SO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DEAL WITH A BAIL BONDSMAN
