93. OMG now I have heard everything. Heather and Willie Nelson are the leaders of this crap. How could people actually believe this. It really is amazing. As for the scholars, and engineers and " educated people " there are educated people all over the world that think the holocaust is BS. Should we belive them too? There are also believers in UFOs Bigfoot, Loch Ness. All scholars and people willing to pay a lot of money to do the research. Don't be fooloed. Our President is a total moron. That Hurricane Katrina was created by a big wind machine invented by American scientists. That the moon landing was faked by the American government. That all the concentration camps were built in Germany by American troops. That Jesus was crucified by Americans. America is a low-down hateful country, isn't it? 98. Just finished reading all the comments… There are some really stupid people out there.
Yes, there are accredited scientists that believe the 9/11 conspiracies. I've also seen a ton of accredited scientists and engineers on infomercials telling me that subsonic bug zappers work and that someone can re-grow hair by hypnosis tapes. People have agendas and will do what ever they can to get their fame (like most of the celebs on this site).
Second, creating 9/11 would have taken hundreds of people whereas none have stepped forward to “break” this conspiracy. The Bush administration couldn’t hide the White House’s lunch menu more or less a cover –up of this magnitude.
Third, suppose they are right about 9/11. Then the government killed 3,000+ people in a blink of an eye. Do you think they’d think twice about sending someone to “quiet” you and everyone that pointed out the “holes” in their plans?
I plan to start a counter-movement. I contend that every single one of the people on here claiming to know the truth about September 11th is wrong and is probably a government employee trying to confuse us from finding the real truth. People! Keep coming up with conspiracy theories. Eventually you will find it. Then will come the knock at the door. Better replace that tin foil hat with a bulletproof jacket…

99. What a slap in the face! If a bomb hit the Pentagon, then what in the world happened to the plane and all the passengers who slammed into it. Are they on and island like the show "Lost"? By the way, we live in DC and 2 of our friends each separately witnessed the plane strike the Pentagon. It was very disturbing and haunts them to this day.

I Agree , popular mechanics did a good job in debating these 'Insane' 911 Conspiracy theories , but, you still have the same groups spreading the Big Lie. I believe the 911 Conspiracy Lie has backfired on the groups that spread them.

102. While a different case altogether, this reminds me of the Moon Landing hoax theory. The main guy behind it is an old, bitter, fired, and denied benefits from NASA because of poor work habits guy, who lives in a single wide in the middle of the Nev. Desert. It's easy to throw out all kinds of "theories" if all you have to do is say it happened, proving it is all together different, as is the case here. I respect people for their beliefs and yes, it is patriotic to speak out, but you need to be right first, and the moon guys are not right, and neither are the 9/11 "we did it" people. But there's money in it isn't there????

Thanks for further proving my point. You can't always believe what you HEAR and that article explained everything. Mainstream media would never resort to name calling to avoid the real issues would it? Talk about making light of all the lives lost as a result. They call it programming for a reason.
