Sources directly connected to the Christian Bale case tell TMZ there was physical contact between Christian and his mom, but it amounted to next to nothing.
We're told Bale pushed his mom out of the way during the altercation. She was not hurt and did not fall down. There's a division of opinion on whether the contact was a "push" or a "brush."
It seems what was hurt most during the confrontation were feelings ... nothing more than feelings.

47. Does it not seem strange to anyone that they didn't go to the police until the next day and just a few hours before the European premiere of the movie? To me, his mom and sister are just trying to start trouble and to somehow get revenge on Christian and his success as an actor. Christian is an amazing man!

48. It doesnt sound like Christian did anything wrong. The mom/sister sound like trash. A circus clown? Seriously. The timing is suspect too. I think they were jealous of him and wanted to ruin his day. Christian just need to kick these losers out of his life because they are toxic to him. I have had people like that in my life and he is better off getting far away from them. I hope Christian can work on his issues. I would hate to see him end up like Heath.

50. What a shame. All these people with all that money, and narry an adult in sight. Mr. Bale should go ahead and pull the pin on this marriage before he get's any richer. It's obviously to his wife's advantage to hang in there just long enough to see his career peak and maximize her settlement. Have any of these morons figured out that hiring hookers is cheaper and psychologically safer than getting married? At least with hookers your dealing with skilled professionals who are employed at your pleasure. If it flies, floats or f_ _ k's, rent it, don't buy it!
