She reminds me of other fallen singers and/or actors who were famous as children and became infamous in adulthood. I don’t think this rarified existence prepares many of them to cope with the real world. Some live to tell the tale, others do not. In Britney’s case, I often wonder how long it will be before she sells her story to a publisher in the form of an “as told to” autobiography. Would I buy a Spears autobiography? Umm, probably not. Just imagine the scathing reviews about scant revelations and the notorious spin If I were really curious, I would head to the library rather than contribute to her infamous lifestyle. She doesn’t really NEED a new pink wig! LOL

42. To #40{: "All she does is work"? What are you talking about? In the past year she has appeared on a bad sitcom twice (10 days), showed up to work out at Bally's as a promo (two dozen times for an hour a pop--let's call it 5 days), and made a Madonna video for M's coming tour (1 day). That's 16 days of work in a year. I think most of the people on this site work more than 16 days a year. Not quite the gruelling schedule you seem to have a fantasy about.

43. There are many rich and famous singers/actors/entertainers, etc. who do not feature in the publicty Britney does. She is famous in this way not vecuase she is rich, lots of people are, not because she is greatly talented, her voice is mediocre and she achieved most of her fame with her mom's help showing off her teenage/under age sex appea and "store bought" breastsl, and because she makes herself a target deliberately -- she is a media whore like her mother -- and because of her bizarre behavior. 44. Lots of people smoke in front of their kids. That's life among the famous and not famous. People drink in front of their kids People lose their temper and use profanity in front of their kids too. I'm not saying it's necessarily right but it's the way most people are. Britney is no different in that respect. What makes her different is that she is uneducated, dense to the point of semi-retardation, and a mediocre singer. She gets attention by showing off her body and acting like an idiot. As for her mother, well, she's the poster woman for How NOT To Raise and Pimp Out Your Daughters. Oh yeah, Ms. Lynne In-Love-With-Herself Spears is also gettng older and uglier by the day.

45. You only have to look at the class of people who spent their hard earned money on her albums and the same people who are still her fans to see how a no talent hillbilly bimbo got rich. It never was real talent that made her famous. Evidently her mother taught her to pant breathlessly and show off her body and that's the extent of her talent, then and now.
