19. There were PLENTY of witnesses to the accident and to the fact that she did indeed try to drive off after hitting the victim...not to mention that the breatholizer test is irrefutible. I cannot believe this girl has the audacity to plea "not guilty". She may not WANT to believe that she did what she did...but she chose to get behind the wheel after drinking WAY too much and changed her life forever, possibly the life of her victim forever as well. She made the choices, time to pay the consequences.

21. Here we go again with blaming the victim 'oh what a whirl'. Doesn't matter if the pedestrian was drunk or not, still 100% the fault of the driver.

24. This makes me sick. Hopefully, she will end up rotting in jail. How can anyone justify driving drunk and then hitting someone. So, it's not on camera. Enough people saw her do it. She's going down.

25. As much as I hate it, she has to plead not guilty to get a jury trial on the 3 felonies. There may be minor points in her sentencing that will reduce the sentence.

The person who defended her, is either her or a close friend/family. If they saw the video and saw her protesting that she didn't hit anyone, and saw how drunk she was, there is no way they'd believe she was innocent. Even if you know Drunky, you can't go by Drunky's recollection of the events, because she was so damn drunk she didn't even know she hit an actual human being.

26. I would like to start with saying I wish the woman she hit a speedy recovery and I wish nothing but the best for her. The drunkard who hit her is lucky in a way. God forbid there had been a woman with a child who crossed that idiot's path. She could have killed someone- an infant, child etc etc. Even if she hadn't that night Lord only knows she would have driven drunk again. She is SO pathetic pleading not guilty-goes to show she hasn't learned ANYTHING. She has no conception of the gravity of her actions. Next time she does it (bc we all know there WILL be a next time unless she has her licensed taken away) I hope the only person she injures is herself. She doesn't deserve the privilege of having a license AND she can't handle the responsibility. How pathetic. I hope she wakes up and realizes she could have KILLED someone.

28. As stated in a previous comment, EVERYBODY arrested for DUI pleads guilty at arraignment. If she has no prior criminal record, she'll get off with close to the minimum for whatever lesser charges the state offers.

30. look at my name I know these streets as well as the DUI laws. I've never had one and never will I don't drink and drive-but a person that I know- I went to court with them for DUI- First offense major fine-if she has no priors. But the hit and run and the fact that I'm sure the victim is pressing charges. Blair Burke can get her about 98 minutes in jail and a major fine..and the big fees for Burke. I've seen Blair Burke in action she's incredible so confident, I'd trust her any with my life.
