I understand your trying to defend this girl. Everyone needs a defence. But your denying obvious facts and thats makes you loose credibility and shows your weakness. You cant deny that she fled the scene of an accident and even if, for the sake of argument, the girl crossing the road WAS drunk, the DRIVER DIDNT EVEN NOTICE HITTING HER!! So if someone RUns illegally into the middle of the road, THE GIRL STILL HIT HER AND DIDNT EVEN NOTICE!! She was drunk and shouldn't have been behind the wheel. Period.
Not to mention in defence of the victim, even if she did cross the road drunk, IT WAS OUTSIDE OF A CLUB WITH TONS OF PPL!! As a driver, when your driving thru a parking lot, YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL FOR PEDESTRIANS!!
Therefore both of you, your defence is weak and making you look stupid trying to defend obvious points.

You say I'm a bad person because I called her an ugly little troll (free speech), and she is the good person w/ 3 felonies putting someone in the hospital. I don't understand your logic. I can't believe she pled not guilty when it was caught on tape (althought th actual accident itself was NOT caught on tape, I can't imagine that there weren't at least a FEW eye witnesses standing out in front of the club). she must have one helluva lawyer.... 53. Are you people really this stupid that you don't know how the system works? You don't need to have any experience with the system, just a little bit of common sense, to know that an arraignment and initial pleading is merely a formality, not an actual assertion or denial of guilt.

No never mind my first question. After reading a few more posts, I'm CONVINCED that most of you are in fact that stupid. I can only hope that one day you are accused of something and are stupid enough to blindly plead guilty without a lawyer or any sort of due process considerations (yeah, right! I know how most of you people work: "responsibility" is for everyone else to exercise).

56. She will not get off. She was caught on video, had a blood alcohol level of .17, a little over twice the legal limit, damage to her car, and witnesses. She will go to jail where she belongs.
