This guy is an awesome actor. And this was an awesome movie. But.................say what you want, there is definately something going on here. Yes there is the time delay of live tv but I think he is the type of person who doesn't take the lime light or huge fame very well. You can clearly tell he is looking pretty tense lately. I hope all is well!!

TMZ seriously has to get to know the actor before posting up ridiculous "news" like this. He's been serious in about 99% of all of the interviews he has ever done. Nothing wrong with that. Can't they tell that there were some communication problems anyways..that alone is ANNOYING.

Everyone needs to leave his fine ass alone. he just isn't one of those stupid ass hollywood puppets that puts on a grin for all cameras. His mom and sister(s) need to step aside and stop chasing after his money. You know it was all blown out of proportion people, give him a break and let him give me some of that!! He is THE sexiest in town.

hes probably just sick of answering the same questions over and over agian, look at other interviews, hes basically the same, everyone asks him the same questions, hes just memerised the answers, anywho who cares hes batman he can do whatever he wants.

For those who don't know, Christian Bale has NEVER liked press junkets. It's one reason he walked away from acting for a little bit, and when he DID return to acting, it was TV movies. He's the most under rated actor in Hollywood and, as a few on here stated, was probably annoyed by the question about getting a real job. Plus, take in account that he may not have heard the question at the moment it was asked. Everything in regards to his mum and sis, in my opinion, is BS. He doesn't strike me as a 'bad guy'...though he can play one really well. My opinion of him has not changed. His weight loss concerns me, but it may also be for another role (anyone remember how he looked in THE MACHINIST?). Of all the actors in H'wood, he's one of the most private. Yes, he's in a very public job, but for heaven's sake...understand the actor before critizing him. Christian Bale has NEVER liked interviews (Anyone see or even remember his interviews from EMPIRE OF THE SUN?) He's just not that comfortable with them. But, I still love Christian Bale...he's the most talented actor (in MY opinion) in H'wood since the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Why does America hate Christian Bale so much? I don't understand. Please love Christian Bale, America. Please, please, please, please, please. Please! He is the first gay Batman. Please love him. Please hold him and love him. Please love the first gay Batman, America. Please. Rule Britannia.
