Jasmine Guy: D is for Divorce, Not Dwaaaayne!

The hubby of "A Different World's" favorite southern belle has filed his response to her divorce filing. Paging Kadeem Hardison!

Jasmine Guy's soon-to-be ex Terrence Duckett filed the documents last Friday in L.A. County Superior Court in response to his estranged wife's original filing. These simple docs are a far cry from Whitley's first try at divorce. In those papers, filed in April, Guy listed two pages of things as her "separate property," including her wedding ring, paintings, sculptures, her BlackBerry, DVD players, pots, pans, and a toaster. Where's the kitchen sink? No word on why Duckett refiled the papers.

Duckett is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their nine-year-old daughter Imani.

16. Black women do age, BLACK DONT CRACK but you have to remember that she is bi-racial (half white/half black) so that other half is whats making her look like that @NOPE. Eat it and die!

17. Why did this turn into a debate about Jasmine's looks? Sheesh. I've seen a pic of her mother at WireImage. She's at least as dark or darker than Jasmine. (Mom is Portugese) Jasmine has lupus & that's a terrible diesease to deal w/. People don't age well w/ that disease. (& I really don't think she was too heavy a smoker; she loves dancing too much for that.)

I hope Jasmine & Terrence do right by Imani & don't turn this poor child into a pawn in their fight w/ each other. Be adults!

18. To: Brenda R., LOL @ yourself. The facts are that U R very ignorant. I am a light-skinned black woman who just turned 40 in June and no one believes me when I tell them. I has nothing to do with your complextion and everything to do with genes and how well you take care of yourself. Sometimes silence is golden and less embarassing.

20. Interesting and most telling. She is facing divorce and will land in the statistic of 70% of black women - and most, if not all of the comments are, are about how she looks in her photo. This is exactly what is wrong with society - focus on superficial - and not the true issues that plague.

Good grief.

Next, we'll count the number of Coach bags in her closet to value her worth. Right?
