16. There's a total of about 6 that are still alive and they show up for the annual Wizard of OZ convention and are SO nice!
Here's a random story for you about Judy Garland.
The day the Wiz of Oz wrapped, the cast and crew were having a party on set which the little people weren't invited too.
So they had their own party in a different part of the set when Judy walked in and with a thank you, left them a box of chocolates. Now THATS class

18. The story about Judy Garland being nice to them is BOGUS. Big deal, she gave them a lame box of chocolates, but then went back to the real party. She later went on TV and joked that they were all drunk on the set all the time!

20. He is EXTREMELY nice, as are all of the surviving cast members. My town is where L. Frank Baum (Wizard of Oz author) is from, and they come back every year for our local "Oz-stravaganza". They sit for hours taking pictures with fans and signing autographs. Considering they are all in their late 80's or 90's, that is quite an accomplishment!!
