Shia's Crash -- Blow-by-Blow Account

We have learned details of what happened just moments after the crash.

A witness tells us he heard a loud crash around 2:45 AM, then the sound of Shia's truck rolling over. The witness said he heard what he thought was a girl screaming "F**k," among other things.

When he got down to scene, Shia was already out of the car and the female riding with him was crawling out of the driver's side of the truck. The truck was smoking, making noise and still running. The driver of the other car was also out of the car by this time.

Shia and the female stood over by a wall while people were checking to see if everyone was okay. The witness said unlike most of the wrecks he's seen in the dangerous intersection, no one was cursing or yelling at each other. It took the cops 4-5 minutes to arrive at the scene.

Two ambulances -- along with one fire truck -- showed up, and all parties involved walked to an ambulance unassisted. There were no breathalyzers or tests done at the scene.

31. NO-ONE WAS BREATHALIZED! OMG!! Once again, the old double standard when celebritys are involved. Really sucks big time. He'll get off and he was so very much driving drunk. He really has been asking for it and now he will not be even scolded after this and maybe he might kill someone the next time. Oh well!

32. based on the damage, it looks like the other car hit him , not the other way around as you state. tso yst, he was broadsiided, possibly from turning in front of the other car, but he other car could have been speeding. we don't know the facts yet so nobody, including the cops or TMZ should be rushing to judgement and convicting shia in the media, as has become standrad M.O. in cases involving celebs. then they face an uphill battle to prove their innocence. i'm sure none of us would apprecite that happening to us. and of course, anybody who was justi n a crash like this would be shaken up and not walking straight, etc, so to say they "looked intoxicated" is grossly unfair. plus they are not just traumatized, but physically injured and in shock.

also, we don't even know if shia was drivng or what his bal was when it was (probably) drawn at the hospital. so for now, all of us including TMZ, should just cool it and hope everyone involved has a complete and swift recovery.

They don't do breath alyzer's at a crash site if you are going to the hospital, They take your blood and test it wich is most accurate, I use to work in the er as a admitting rep and had to the nurses alway's order them,infact it is mandatorily done after an accident, even if you don't know about it they do you're blood alcohol levels.

43. I heard that this area of Hollywood (Fountain/La Brea) is a big drug dealing neighborhood. Did the driver have any crack cocaine on him when he was arrested? Because it's likely he was driving through that neighborhood to score some drugs or some crack.
