The Scene of Shia LaBeouf's Accident

31. ok so the passenger is Isabel Lucas who happens to be Adrian Grenier girlfriend and to be out with Shia partying it out seems kinds weird to me.... Did Adrian know they went out and wouldnt this be a mest up way to find out that your girl is out with an other guy ...has anyone asked Adrian Grenier what he thinks... I think TMZ needs to ask him!

32. Funny how you guys chose only to reveal part of the story. Shia was not at fault in the accident. Yes, he was intoxicated, and yes, that's very irresponsible of him. He was in fact placed under arrest when the authorities discovered he was drunk driving, but I find it laughable that you failed to mention that the other driver had ran a red light, which is what actually caused the accident, not Shia making a left turn while intoxicated.

Shia LaBeouf was not to blame for an early-morning car wreck in Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday, pinning fault on the other driver for running a red light.

Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore says detectives have determined that the other driver, who has not been identified, ran the light and will also be cited. LaBeouf was booked for a misdemeanor DUI and underwent surgery for injuries to his left hand.

“He was not at fault,” Whitmore said of the “Transformers” actor.

LaBeouf’s pickup truck collided with another vehicle at 3 a.m. Sunday in West Hollywood. Lucas and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.

LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn at the West Hollywood intersection of LaBrea and Fountain avenues when his pickup collided with another vehicle, rolling the truck over.

“It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,” Sgt. Scott Wolf said on Sunday.

Two attorneys listed for LaBeouf have not returned calls from The Associated Press.
