Upon arriving in Nice today, Johnny Depp greeted photogs with a warm French hello.
If you were one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, you'd be pissed off too.

94. Why do you think he lives 6 months in the US and 6 months in France? So that he can avoid being hit hard for taxes in France. He is such a hypocrite bad mouthing the US yet he can make millions here and try to avoid paying huge taxes in France. Why do you think he does not marry Vanessa because that would mean more taxes in France. If France is home then that is fine but claim residency and pay into the French tax system. Anyway it would be better for the kids not have to be hauled around and stay rooted in one place.

95. JD is a great actor. I just think it's so tacky that he flipped the finger at the paps. I know he was pissed that they were there, but coming down to the pap's level doesn't sit well with me. Geesh Johnny, couldn't you have just ignored them instead of acting like trailer park trash? The paps love it when you celebribs do stuff like that.

No wonder why A-list actors (Depp, Brangelina..) are all in France or in Italy (George Clooney), they have good tastes and US sucks.

100. What's the problem? He's been famous for years and should be used to this. Who tipped off the paps they'd be at the airport at that time? It looks like there's only 2 photogs. He acts like he's being swarmed by dozens of paps. Why go to Nice at this tme anyway - with the Brangelina circus going on? Plus, he's making a mistake teaching his kids to fear having their photo taken. The photogs are shooting pictures, NOT poison darts. Vanessa's a big girl now too. She likes being famous in France and should be used to having her picture taken by now.

102. Wow, I DO love him, but he really gave the paps the money shot with that one. Wish he had just played it cool for the couple of minutes he had to put up with them. Would've been a much better example for his kids - even if they didn't see him flip the bird, they did see him get outrageously angry. Acting like that is only going to ensure that the paps keep hounding him!

103. I'm amazed at how uneducated people are... Some of you hear one comment that he made and all of a sudden he's anti-american. Ridiculous. He was criticizing the state that this country has been in since 2000 and he's absolutely right! Anyone who thinks the US is the best country to be in right now is seriously kidding themselves. Do some research before you start spouting off about things you don't really know...
And yes, we don't know the situation here. Being an actor does not give the paparazzi the right to stalk them everywhere they go. Johnny Depp has always been gracious to his fans and appreciates everything they do for him. He just wants a little alone time with his family- what's wrong with that? And as far as his and Vanessa's appearances, I would give anything to see pictures of some of you posting. It's so easy to sit behind a computer screen and hate on people. What a miserable life that must be.

105. Greatest actor alive today and still the hottest at 45. Intelligent and creative (and musical) - the whole package. Leave the man and his family alone when he's not working and hopefully he will keep giving us great entertainment.
