Novak Tumor: Factor in D.C. Crash?

Right wing bad driver Robert Novak has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Does that affect your motor skills?

Novak, who was involved in a hit and run with a pedestrian last week in D.C., issued a statement saying "On Sunday, July 27, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I have been admitted to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where doctors will soon begin appropriate treatment. I will be suspending my journalistic work for an indefinite but, God willing, not too lengthy period."

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Novak was with his family yesterday on Cape Cod when he suddenly became ill. He was brought by ambulance to the hospital in Boston. Doctors have not yet performed a biopsy on the tumor.

His assistant told the paper "He's talking'' and "seemed fine."

33. #31 - He's not concerned about the $50 traffic ticket. He's more concerned about the big bucks a jury will award the pedestrian in a personal injury and negligence lawsuit. As far as quitting his job, he knows he only has to say the word and he will have that back. However, he doesn't need to work with all he has earned over the years. He does it for the power and influence.

34. Agree, Bunny. You know what they say about Karma.... And if anyone was ever deserving - especially after running over a pedestrian and claiming no knowledge of it, it's Novak. I bet Rumy is wishing he had thought of that first!

36. He didn't out Valerie Plame. Just because you write it or say it, doesn't make it true. TMZ could have been gracious with this report, considering the comments they ran last week, before the tumor announcement - but they just couldn't bring themselves to be decent. Fortunately for TMZ, a lot of its readers are just as vicious and BRAIN DEAD!

37. he best way to get out of a ticket, DUI, reckless driving, or hit
and run, is to "PRETEND" you can't breath, your having a heart attack,
you need medical attention, or play stupid and say you are sick and
need to get to a hospital right away ... it's the oldest trick in the
book and it works every time.

The first words out of your mouth should be "officer please help, me
I need medical attention, !

All these big time fancy special people do this trick to avert the
attention .....

Now go to it little soldiers.......

38. This awful man profited handsomely with the Bush administration, he was basically a whore for the Republicans.
The sad fact is that he did a lot of harm to many people through his column, etc. Now it's time for him
to face the grim reaper--hell has a spot for him. Tim Russert he ain't!

39. This man has spewed out so much hatred and intolerance over the airways. He played a part in the outing of Valerie Plame the CIA agent whose husband was critical of the Bush Administration. Last week he was a suspect for a hit and run accident involving a homeless man. He was always so smug and so pompous on CNN. I must confess that I have very little pity for him. His hate speech has hurt a lot of people.
