Obama to Luda: Respect Your Elders!

Barack Obama and LudacrisIt appears that Barack Obama is going to have to distance himself from yet one more supporter.

Ludacris has just released a new rap where he calls Hillary Clinton a "bitch" and says John McCain "don't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed" and also throws insults at Jesse Jackson and George W. Bush. The only logical explanation has to be that Ludacris is a McCain mole!

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement, condemning Luda for his ridiculous lyrics.

"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

31. Ludacris is a Georgia State University Alumni, not another drug dealer turned rapper, as stated by some.
The man knows what he is doing..
FYI - All rappers don't sell drugs, if you are ignorant than educate yourself, if you choose to stay ignorant, then don't speak..

33. Go ahead, Ludacris. Keep on getting voters for McCain. If this is the kind of crap we'll have to put up with if BHO is elected--no thanks! McCain, all the way!

35. I don't know about anyone white pretending to be black commenting on these forums, but I CAN 9 times out of 10 spot the black person. You can't spell, you can't make a complete sentence, and you can't make a decent argument. Especially politicalprisoner. You just need to shut the hell up. You're too stupid to even comment. I guess somebody will twist that around and say that it's a white person's fault that a black person can't spell, etc.,...

36. Until some of his advisers nearly had heart attacks, then he had to back up on ole' Bernie and tell him to "clean up his act", in a half-assed attempt to try to appease everybody. Then say he was "just messing" with ole' Bernie. Is he gonna call old Ludie later and tell him that he HAD to throw him under the bus? Just for now, Ludie - when I get in the Black House - you can play that song at the first big shindig!

"Ludacris is a Georgia State University Alumni," What a shame. They didn't teach him much. He still wasted his mind,,,,,,,,

38. How the heck would Barack have to "distance" himself from Ludacris? He doesn't even know Ludacris personally. Do they think all blacks know each other? Does Barack have to issue a statement about any one of his supporters that may make an asinine statement even though he doesn't know them?

39. DENISE
You watch too many silly reality shows. Your statements are dumb. If you are trying to equate ,compare , or draw an analogy, why don't you learn the proper skills? The one you used !!!!! Rappers are idiots and a disgrace to the black community and its history.

Next time ,have a brain and help yourself. If some one tells you to get the F out of town, there is a flood coming , JUST DO IT .Stop blaming others for your stupidity!! Rappers are pretenders and idiots. if you take away the music and this guy came up to ONE OF you and said the same thing, you would think he was an IDIOT!!!!. The lyrics that rappers use are pathetic. WITHOUT THE MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND ,PEOPLE WOULD RIGHT AWAY SEE HOW DUMB RAPPERS REALLY ARE.

Mothers don't let your babies grow up to be rappers....unless ,of course, they are retards!

41. Ludacris is just trying to make money exploiting the situation. I'm sorry but we are not picking our homie for president, we're picking the next leader of the free world. Reminds me of that office space movie where the black guy walks into the electronics store and wants a discount just cause the salesman is black.

Obama is not representing ONE group of American's and silly rap song's are the least of our problems. Rappers can show support but don't hurt the campaign with disrespectful lyrics you use on each other!

42. As stupid as ludacris lyrics are they are simply his opinions. They do not reflect on Obama. Its called freedom of speech. Just like all you racist have the right to come on this board and spew your hate towards minorities (with TMZ's permission apparently) ludacris has the right to spew his stupidity.

I guess you think you're the only ones entitled to your opinions, as usual.

43. FIRST OFF ALL THIS IS AMERICA AN EVERYBODY HAS A RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH AN SECOND JUST BECAUSE LUDACRIS ENDORSE OBAMA DOES NOT MEAN EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF LUDAS MOUTH OBAMA AGREES WITH COME ON PEOPLE THIRD TMZ YOU SHOULD STOP LETTING PEOPLE LEAVE RACIAL COMMENTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (IT HURTS)

44. Let me start by saying that Luda probably didn’t use the right words in expressing himself, however it’s called a freedom of speech! I admit that some of the things that he said was a little bit harsh but white men are saying worst things about Obama then you could even imagine so what’s the difference here? The difference is it makes Obama looks extra bad! But regardless of what Luda said, some of us totally agree with him but don’t have the heart or the guts to say it! So talk bad about Luda all you want, he said what he said and I hope he doesn’t take it back, and for Obama, he still has my vote!

45. Why does it seem that only white people are ever called out for being racist? Paint the White House black? Is Ludacris serious? Why is it that Ludacris had to make this a colr/race issue? I don't want to hear any crying and bellyaching when some white person decides to speak their mind, and spouts their ignorant, racist remarks unless some upstanding citizen in the black community calls Ludacris out for being a racist. (By upstanding citizen in the black community, I do not me Jesse Jackson or Rev. Al Sharpton. I mean real upstanding black citizens, not the so called voices for the black community. That's another topic all together.) Even Obama's spokesman did not come out and say "racist". Why is the word always skirted when it comes to ethnicities besides white/caucasian?

Why is he only calling for black people to get out and vote? If he really wants Obama to win, then he would do his best to get anyone out to vote for Obama no matter what color their skin is. That put a thorn in my side, also. Is it only black people that can vote for a black man for President? I am not voting for Obama, but it is not because he is black. I just don't see eye to eye with him on the issues, nor do I for McCain. Now, if Mr. Alan Keyes, a black man, were on the ballot I would vote for him.

P.S. Final comment on the phrase "people of color" (just becuase I think it's a very moronic phrase). Last time I looked in a box of crayons white is a color, too.
