Oh Baby Baby -- Obama Fires Back!

Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor just released this statement about John McCain's new political ad, comparing Mr. O to Britney and Paris:

"On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Senator McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another. Or, as some might say, 'Oops! He did it again.' Our dependence on foreign oil is one of the greatest challenges we face.

In this election the American people have a real choice -- between Obama's plan to provide tax rebates to American families while creating a renewable energy economy in America that frees us from our dependence on foreign oil, and Senator McCain's plan to continue the same failed energy policies by handing out nearly $4 billion in tax breaks to oil companies while investing almost nothing in the new energy sources that represent our future."

32. The democratic Messiah can't quite remember all the lies he has spoken. The Germans love him because he hates America and promotes socialistic governments. Obama said there were 200,000 people. The Germans said it was no more than 20,000. Typical Obama lie. The biased journalists will never correct them. Aren't journalists supposed to report the facts? McCain might be the biggest jerk Republican in our country but he is hands down better than Obama the marxist who thinks there are 57 states in the union. I wonder what his Muslim brother thinks?

34. TMZ...make sure not to mention that all corporations would be receiving a tax break in order to make business in the USA more affordable. Oil companies happen to fall into that category Why would you want to tell the whole story though?

35. TMZ your obamanator-girly man is a hack in an empty suit, with no ideas (but plenty of plagiarized material) and the morals of a dog in heat, along with the consistantcy of pudding. We used to call people like that sociopath's, now we call them the Democratic nominee.

We'll end up with McCain because a bunch of fools bypassed Hilary for a knuckle-head nobody who's only full time job was 'community organizer' in Chicago of all places, who's married to another nit wit who is only proud of our country if her husband wins. Thanks, (cough-BS) but no thanks Michelle.

38. Good point that this is a little odd for TMZ to be running-I usually
come to TMZ to get away from the political...But for what it's worth,
I do notice that the contributors to this comment section are actually
a more accurate representation of everyday American opinions than many
other blogs/site comment sections. Britney and Paris' influence
truly does stretch across the aisle, because after all, they are the
ones we came to this site to read about!

40. McCain is a 'war hero ' ? Since when ? He was a typical American who went to Vietnam to kill innocent people, got caught and spent five yeas in their prisons. The cultured Vietnamese let him go instead of beheading the war monger. Now the old "experienced" fear-mongerer calls himself the 'vietnames veteran" which has now become the " vietnamese hero" .

43. I think the commercial was a reasonable assessment. Obama is a very inexperienced politician, and a very smooth talker. Some would say he is handsome and has a pretty wife, who dresses very fashionably. If those things appeal to you in a President, and the safety and prosperity of our country don't, well then, go ahead and vote Obama.

45. We simply need a powerful, influential 3rd party here in the 21st Century.
I just hope we make it as a nation intact until the next election in 2012.
Let's see who these guys choose as vice prezzes because, as we have seen by Cheney, the power is often behind the throne and the front guy is often simply the dumbfounded mouthpiece. I'll be voting on the merits of the vice president.

On a personal note. I have met Sen McCain and his lovely daughter Megan and believe you me, Paris and Britney have substantial more brain matter than Sen McCain.
