This has gotta hurt. We did some digging and found Rick and Kathy Hilton gave the John McCain campaign $4,600 this year, and Johnny boy has now taken a shot at their lil' girl.
According to the Federal Election Commission website, the Hiltons contributed the dough last March. Initially, Rick put up all the $$$ but in April it was split between him and his wife.
Now McCain is taking a shot at Obama, using Paris as his ditzy weapon.
61. I don't think it's right that McCain uses a celeb's image in his campaign without their express permission.
How deperate is the old twit?
Although I have to say, Paris does look quite stunning in the add.
And the McCain team is correct in naming Brit and Paris as the world's most famous celebs. So I guess it could be taken as a compliment.
But still, when someone is trademarked and copyrighted you need to get their permission.

62. I wish people would stop calling Paris Hilton a slut, especially when the people who do so almost always have more dirt in their own lives than anyone else.
What Paris does in her private life is no one's business in the first place,.
But over the last year, Paris Hilton has done very well for herself and also given to and worked with charities.

66. Has anyone checked to see if Britny or Paris consented to the use of their likenesses in the paid advertisement? Where they compensated? Just wondering. There are laws in most states that protect a celebrity's "right of publicity". Although these laws sometimes contain an exclusion for political campaigning, the use of a celebrity likeness as the cornerstone of a paid political ad might not fall under such exemptions.

67. I can't believe TMZ fan base are some of the meanest people out there. I really have on rose colored glasses. I mean just because you are anonymous they can say what they want. I believe in freedom of speach but this is criminal what is going on here.
People this is a serious duty we as Americans have to do. We have to elect the next POTUS, if you can't come up with policy differences (and if you have been paying attention there are many) to discuss then why discuss anything at all. McCain's La Jolla Condo Just Misses Going Into Default
News Update:
Long-overdue property taxes on a La Jolla Shores condo owned by a trust overseen by the wife of presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain were paid in full hours before the property was to go into default, it was reported Tuesday.
Prior to the payment, annual property taxes on the condo had not been paid for four years and the property was scheduled to go into default at midnight Monday, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
A total of $6,744.42 was paid electronically on Friday and the balance of $1,742 was paid Monday, San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector Dan McAllister told the newspaper.
The condo is occupied by an elderly aunt of Cindy McCain, who oversees the trust that owns the condo, according to the Union-Tribune.
The delinquency became public last week in Newsweek magazine.
