Mayer Grabs Paps by the Short Hairs

L.A. city officials held a big pow-wow today about regulating the paparazzi -- and John Mayer, onetime host of TMZ TV, is on the photog's side ... sorta.

He doesn't want the paps banned -- but "legitimized" -- and even wants 'em branded with their own version of the Scarlet Letter: A white "P" affixed to license plates.

31. I used to REALLY like John Mayer's music. Then he participated in that press manipulation mess in Miami with lameass Jen. I actually got sick to my stomach to see him doing that, AND with HER! I suspect she has lost him many, many fans. He is now a joke just like Jen. She is a needy, aging badly, has-been TV sitcom "actress" who knows who to call when she wants press. I'm disgusted. BOYCOTT Aniston!!

34. It has become a safety issue not only for the stars but for the public as well. Anyone breaking the laws, such as blocking
traffice, running stop signs , stalking or blocking sidewalks are breaking the law. Why are they above being fine be-
cause they take pictures. Laws are for everyone, not just a few.
