47. 43. Wow! It is a lot of hatred in these comments. I am very proud of the different types of music my culture has created, including hip hop. Yes, there are certain rap artist I do not listen to because of their derogatory lyrics, however I am grateful to have the freedom of choice. I don't own a gun, drink, smoke, do drugs, degrade the opposite sex, have children out of wedlock, live on welfare, use the "n" word, identify myself through material things or blame society for my misfortunes. Unfortunately, white America and the media never addresses or acknowledge the millions of African Americans who choose to live a decent moral life. It seems easier to generalze and stereotype a group of people. Maybe I am not the honorable person I have tried desperately to be over my lifespan, because like Senator Obama I also have jammed to some Ludacris tracks on occasion. I guess that makes me ignorant and a thug. In reference to slavery, the question that needs to be asked is : What character/moral of a person would purchase another human being to be enslaved for their own personal benefit and gain? I guess a good one.

You are eloquent enough that your words are worthy of response. This is not about WHITE PEOPLE and what THEY think of Blacks. I have a law dergee, own my own business, own a small apartment building where whites pay ME rent and am in no way reliant on whites or anyone else for my financial well being. The whites on this site who spew hatred about ALL blacks are the "K-Mart" element who need someone on whom to blame their own failures, so they are irrelevant. This isn't about THEM. It's about US. It's about what rap and hip hop are doing to BLACK America. So stop obsessibg about whites for just a moment, please.

If you do indeed listen to Ludacris, you support an animal who routinely refers to Black women as B*TCHES. If you don't want whites stereotyping ALL Blacks, why is it ok for HIM to defame ALL Black women? And while YOU may not use the N word, you cannot deny that the vast majority of uneducated Black men DO, and in large part because they are following the lead of the hip hoppers they idolize. Black men casually calling each other this vile word in public, completely oblivious to the looks on the faces of those around them who are stunned by their level of stupidity and self-hatred. The next time you pass a group of Jewish men calling themselves HEBES, alert the media, because that will indeed be newsworthy. Blacks are the ONLY group that exercises this inexplicable self hate born of ignorance. They operate as unthinking sheep!

You say ypu have "jammed" to Ludacris. May I ask you WHY? As bright and articulate as you are, how can you ignore his impact on young Black boys who follow his lead? Watch as he soon issues an apology to Hillary. But don't hold your breath waiting for him to also apologize to the millions of Black women on whom he has inflicted far greater harm. It is YOUR mothers, sisters and daughters whom he thinks he has a right to address as B*TCHES. But in his eyes, THEY are not worthy of an apology. And as long as YOU buy his "music," he will continue to profit by disrespecting his own people.

50. Atlanta used to be a great city to live in. Now the only time it gets any press is when Thugs shoot at each other, which seems to be all the time. Every cool area of town gets infiltrated by THUGS and ruins the fun for everybody.

52. Jermaine Dupri needs to invite more mature guest to his social events; not violent young adult teenagers. Also, the Dupri gathering has no political affiliation to the upcoming presidential election. Any judgment fashioned to race or gender about this event is xenophobic.
