"Old and Ill" Also Applies to Harry Dean Stanton
Harry Dean Stanton blasted John McCain last night for being "old and ill." It would have meant more if it wasn't coming from the Cryptkeeper's understudy.

3. No, TMZ, it means more coming from someone who already knows what "OLD" means.
Just like when John McCain admitted in 2000 that he'd be too old to be president by 2008:

6. TMZ, why don't you leave Harry Stanton the hell alone? Yes he's old, but at least he's decent enough to go with it, instead of getting carved up like all the other turkeys in Hollywood.

9. The comment about Harry Dean Stanton must have been written by someone kinda/sorta young. The reality is anyone John McCain's age knows that time takes it toll physically and mentally. Many will not admit it or accept it, but those who are not afraid to age are realistic about it. According to the YouTube video, McCain was realistic in 2000, but evidently his ambition got the better of him. I will always wonder if Ronald Reagan was suffering from early stage Alzheimer's during the last year or so he was in office. The presidency of this country is one of the toughest jobs in the world. If McCain is elected I can only pray that Father Time will be kind to him and he will stay healthy physically and mentally while in office.

11. How many times can you insult someone for the crime of aging. Do you think you won't be there someday? How will you like it?

12. Part of what is wrong with America is that we elect our leaders how we would elect the Student Council in Hight School.
Look where relative youth and inexperience has gotten this country in the past 8 years.

13. Harry Dean Stanton has more cool in his left nut than the entire staff at TMZ has as a collective whole.

15. I agree with Harry Dean Stanton. McCain is too old for the most aging, important job in the world.
I am in my 60's. I am young at heart and can swim, bike, work my computer, iPod, my job and play tennis, but I know that despite being in good shape for my age, I'm not as mentally quick, I don't learn new stuff as fast and I have other minor shortcomings that I didn't have 5 years ago. I think I'm too old for the most stressful job in the world... and I'm 7 years younger than McCain.
The job of President ages everyone who is in office after a short time. At the end of his term, if elected, McCain will be 75.
Our last old president suffered from alzheimer's in the last couple years of his last term. We can't have another senile President.
