61. There are a lot of ugly, even racist comments, here, that's true. But an equally ugly fact is that blacks have problems with guns in their neighborhoods. Whites have their problems, too, obviously (most of the headline-grabbing school shooters are whites, for example). But I believe the black-on-black homicide numbers way outweigh the white numbers (not talking about raw numbers -- there are probably more whites killed because there are many more white people; I'm talking percentages). There is a severe gun violence problem in black communities. I wish people on forums would talk more about ways to solve that problem. Talk about racism, fine. But suggest a way blacks can stop killing each other, too, outside of and beyond blaming it on racism, which doesn't do much to help the situation. Sorry my post is so serious, but this gets me down.
