25. Does anyone really think for themselves any longer? Even I understand the point McCain is making... You don't vote somebody in as President just because they seem "cool" or "hip".

At least with McCain you know where he stands... because he has voting record in the Senate. Where areas... Obama... can't take the time to vote, so you have no idea what his true opinions are... and all I ever hear from his camp is "CHANGE"... But I never hear him say what that change is... other than the same old rhetoric we hear from both sides.

and i'm on news stations at least 4 to 5 hrs a day.... I know... I know... I need to get a life. But I think we stand a better chance with the "devil" we know (McCain, since we know his voting record) versus the "devil" we don't (Obama, crappy voting record)

Do I agree with everything both candidates have to say... absolutely not.

I can understand why Kathy Hilton defends her child but you would have thought that after Kathy mouthed off to the judge in Paris' DUI case (that mouthing off, IMHO, is what got Paris all of that jail time), Kathy would learn when to shut up. Now the LA Police Chief has used Paris' recent good behavior (she was out of town and bothering someone else) that Kathy would FINALLY catch a clue and realize that Paris needs to re-evaluate her life and make major changes!

Whether or not you like or hate McCain, Paris Hilton deserved to be in that commercial. it highlighted one of the many problems that are wrong with this country - our adoration with the lives of people (most of which have very little talent - i.e. Paris) who think they are better than everyone else.

Kathy dear - either shut-up or reign in your kids! They are in trouble and need direction not a pat on the back for bad behavior!
