Hilton to McCain: Take My Money and Shove It

Kathy Hilton has slammed John McCain for his ad featuring her precious daughter Paris -- especially, as we reported, after she and her hubby forked over $4,600 to his campaign.

Kathy told the Huffington Post, "It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when million of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States."

109. i totally agree with kathy hilton why os mccain making these dumbass ads about britney and paris, i havent seen an obama ad attacking mccain comparing him to celebreties.mccain needs to take a nap and get a life..we already know whats going with celebrities because of tv so why does he need to remind us..isnt he running for president not for who can come up with the worst ad cuz he definetly won that one..i hope obama wins

110. While I would tend to agree that the ads are unneccesary - they make the perfect point all too well; Obama's campaign is nothing but style over substance. Everything the empty suited wonder says has to be clarified and re-stated because once the people hear what he really thinks he doesn't look so good because most Americans DO NOT SUPPORT SOCIALISM.

Perhaps it's you who should get a clue! This massive socialist bail out is due to DUMB people buying far more house than they could possibly afford - due in part to the whining by dems for mortgage lenders to find a way to finance low income Americans who COULDN'T REALLY AFFORD A HOUSE TO BEGIN WITH, it's a fact - if of course you'd bother to verify facts but my guess is you're not really interested in those, are you?

oh, and $2300.00 per person is the legal limit an inidiviual is allowed to donate. and Rick Hilton is a self-made man who has his own real estate development company. he has never worked for hilton hotels. so they are not living off money from his father or grandfather's money. besides which, it's really nobody's business anyway. what the hilton's has, they have come by honestly and with hard work. so don't be petty, jealosu or ignorant about it. for all of us, our personal finances are our own damn business andnobody elses. that goes for all of us...including the hilton family!

oh, and speaking of being judgemental, exactly how does anybody posting here know that "kathy married for money"? again, talk about the height of ignorance! and yet they been married almost 29 years with four great kids. any marriage is nobody's business except the two people involved, so butt out and shut your trap!

120. Oh my goodness, Hilton has something to say NOW! At least he showed pictures that weren't mug shots or nudes. Paris made a name for herself with all the mistakes she has made and if Parents were around raising her instead of the cleaning lady, babysitting and trying to communicate with the kids, while they are out jet setting-she is not from this Country. She gave less than 5,000 to his campaign and they are worth what 50 million, oh my. The standards in this Country are going to the dogs. Shut up already. Have another Martini drunkard!
