Cheeseheads Hire Egghead to Put Out Favre Fire

Brett FavreDesperate to clean up the never ending debacle over Brett Favre's never ending career, the Green Bay Packers found a guy who knows all about covering his boss' ass -- Dubya's former White House spokesman, Ari Fleischer!

According to FOX Sports, the Packers signed Ari Fleischer to a one-month contract as a "consultant."

Why the team feels they need to pay a guy to tell them to let Brett Favre do whatever the hell he wants is unclear.

17. Dont know what happen to that post but what I said before it was all jumbo mumbo is that if Bitchykins was really a Packer Fan and really from WI then they would know that the Packer players have given Aaron Rodgers the nick name of A-Rod. Plus A-Rod is not in Boston he is in New York so stick to something you know about which appears to be not much.

20. wouldn't it be better better and cheaper to settle this like true gentlemen? A duel between the owner and Favre would be pay-per-view that I'd pay to view.

22. I think it's funny how so-called fans keep saying Favre is the only way to the Super Bowl. Pretty sure that over the past 16 years the Pack only went twice. The better bet with Favre, if he comes back, is that he'll sputter toward the end of the season and throw enough interceptions to keep that record in tact. Then he'll do the retirement dance once again.

24. I respected Farve for going out on top, but now he's just a whiny ass like some of the others. He decided he was tired of football. Did he expect people to wait on him until His Royal Highness decided that he wanted to play? You'd think he's take this time to get closer to his family and not risk getting seriously hurt.

DUH
The jerks at Green Bay are making up lies about the man who has CARRIED them the last decade

DUH....SHOCKER!
I hope like he!! Brett goes to MN & takes them allllllllllllll the way to the Super Bowl & then............WHO WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH?!?!?!

26.
for all it's worth, other than most of the records involved,

all i recall is a losing 4th quarter quarterback go back after a snap,

while a fan runs up out of nowhere and TAKES the ball from him.......

27. Management screwed this one up. I think the GM and head coach will be looking for new jobs if Rodgers doesn't perform and the Packers don't have a winning season. Brett is a legend and he deserves his job back. I don't blame him if he decides to go to Tampa Bay...Packer fans will miss him and will be sorry in the end. This isn't relevant but the head coach is a fat ass.

28. There were so many lies told in all that has been going on in the Favre saga!
I am from Wisconsin and a Packer and Favre fan. He let them know early in the year that he wanted to come back but they chose to ignore it. I think that he should have had his chance and then all this mess would not have started.
It’s hard to say what the final outcome will be but I will stay a Favre fan either way. I do have to say that I feel sorry for Aaron Rodgers though. I think this whole thing has put a whole lot of pressure on him that he did not deserve to have. Rethinking some of the Packer management may be in order.

29. I am and will be a Packer fan if Brett stays on the team. The management forgot what Brett has all done for the team.... such egos the management has and Rogers, come on boys lets all play together.
Well, if you are traded, I'm with you Brett, I'm no longer a Packer fan either.
