Heart disease is the new deaf.
Our "Dancing with the Stars" spies tell us Toni Braxton will put on her dancing shoes for the show this season. Toni, who quit her Vegas gig due to heart complications, continues the "DWTS" tradition of dancers with some form of challenge: Heather Mills (leg), Marlee Matlin (deaf) and Tucker Carlson (rhythm).
A rep for the show says they don't comment on casting rumors.

17. I LIVE IN LAS VEGAS AND REMEMBER WHEN TONI BRAXTON HAD TO QUIT HER SHOW BECAUSE OF, "HEART TROUBLE." IN LAS VEGAS SHE DID MINIMAL MOVEMENT, JUST SANG. FUNNY THING THOUGH........SHE COULDN'T FILL A ROOM. NOW SHE IS GOING TO DWTS WHICH IS A VERY PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING SHOW THAT GOES ON FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND IS A VERY DEMANDING SCHEDULE.

18. Umm Toni Braxton was a complete success for the flamingo. Couldn't fill a room? How about she had one of the top ten vegas shows repeatedly. So.. I guess that means others in the top ten couldn't fill a room either? Enough with the lies.

19. I am a Toni Braxton fan. She needed to stop working in Vegas to get some rest. Now that she had her rest, she can probably do the dwts show. I also believe this would bring great exposure for her. She plans on getting another CD out supposedly this year, I think that this would help push sales for her when it comes out. Hey she has to support her family the best way she can and I don't see her letting up anytime soon.

20. She hasn't even been confirmed for the show and yall are negatively speculating. Why do you take the time to have irritation or even anger about this? There are issues far worse in the world than worrying about her health and if she fulfilled her contract. If she wants to participate in DWTS, then let her. If her heart is that weak or bad then the strain of practicing alone will put her in the hospital for a long time, or worse(prayerfully not). For those of you with concert reservations, get your money back and quit crying. For those of you with NO money, don't hate on someone who does have some money. Dam* yall need to go play a sport or get out the house ya dam* computer potatoes. I am laughing my as* off reading your comments.

21. I just watched Toni Braxton dance her first dance on Dancing With the Stars. I was so moved by her performance. The judges loved her and I did too. As a Grandmother of an autistic boy I feel a kinship with Toni. I hope she goes all the way to the end with this. Hopefully we'll get to meet her little man sometime this season. He's lucky to have a Mom like her. Good luck Toni!
